An small dive into y/n's life before being taken by the Jedi, and also into an character that i feel like i haven't explored, but i want to explore. If you read chapter 26 "Conspiracy" You'll know i introduced a few characters (two, actually) and one of them is meant to be part of y/n's childhood, Amanda. Yes, i know. Why? Because i felt like it, plus, i feel like many things in this story wouldn't progress if we don't do at least one chapter dedicated to see what went on y/n's past before the story started. I would also like to state a small thing. 

Since i aged y/n to 18 somewhere in the story after the new guidelines came up, we'll age y/n into 5, even tho in a flashback it was told that the last time Celeste was on home, she was 5 and he was 3. We'll do this. Celeste did leave, and y/n's father too did leave, and y/n survived until 5 where his mother died, how does that sound? It's an error from the small flashback, i know. And that's why this chapter exists, to fix that. Another note is that this happens lets say, two months before the battle of Naboo? Just so we don't get confused.

This chapter will be short, but i'll try to cover everything that i want to cover. As well the fake name of "Jacob" as that seemed to get some people confused, witness protection for y/n's family by the Jedi. Now, onto the chapter.

(Note, in case you want some sort of reference for y/n's clothing in most of the chapter, just google up younger smoker from One Piece. Or, you can just let your imagination flow and imagine him however you want, that's the point of an reader insert, right?)

Y/n L/n, age, 5. 

"Now, dear." M/n, y/n's mother was crouched at his height, fixing the collar of y/n's shirt. Today was a special day, or at least. M/n tried to make it special, despite it being only the two of them, she had gotten y/n a play date with another kid of his age. "Act nice, don't be nervous, and try to make a friend, okay?" His mother had told him, little y/n was just nodding his head at her words, back when his hair was slightly longer and a bit messy, his eyes big and round. He was wearing a simple short-sleeved burgundy shirt, a olive green jacket (yes, reminiscent of military jackets) and some black pants with sneakers. "Oh and.." His mother looked at him one last time. "Remember, your name is.." She speaks, letting her son finish the sentence.

"...Jacob." Y/n answers. Due to everything that happened, and for the fact his father had discovered what seemed like a super weapon hidden in the Tundra that was Rhen Var, the Jedi had given them witness protection, sort of. And that meant fake names, y/n did not entirely understand back then, but did not question it. "Good." His mother ruffled his (H/c) hair with a smile. "Let's go." She said, taking his hand and leading him to the hallways of the building they were on.

Jako's house, the owner and founder of O-Corp, a private droid service company, he was someone who had tied to the l/n family, specially to m/n, as they studied along and went to the same college. Didn't study the same career, but still ended having ties with each other, which was why Jako recommended her that his daughter met her son.

And so, that's how y/n ended on the room of a little girl, someone whom he didn't know he would become a friend of. And it made sense why at first glance it didn't seem like it would go well. Back then, after everything that y/n passed, he had been reserved and more kept to himself. He didn't know why his father or Celeste left them, but he could hear his mother cry every night, at that hurt him. 

"Um." The other girl in front of him was clearly nervous, her hair reaching to her shoulders, her face showed kindness, but also a uncertainty of who the boy standing in front of her was. Whilst y/n's face showed an air of maturity that wasn't normal for someone his age, but at the same time, an uncertainty as well. Distrust from his part would be more like it.
