Evara woke up the next morning beside Madeline. It was 4:30 am, although she didn't wanna get up. She wanted to see him, she wanted him to know things were okay between the two of them.
After 10 minutes of a silent morning bathroom run, Evara showered and changed along with throwing on some quick makeup. She ended up leaving the apartment at 5:12. She depended on public transportation to take her to his side of town. She didn't wanna drive Madeline's crack head car into his neighborhood.
On the way she was worried, something in her stomach just dropped the second she walked into the hotel. It was only about 5:45 am, when she had gotten to his hotel door it was 5:50
She sighed knocking on the door quickly three times.
She silently waited.
She heard footsteps coming closer got the door. She nervously smiled as the door opened.
He opened the door looking down at her.
"Heyy.." She spoke awkwardly.
"Hey" he smiled awkwardly.
He was dressed in black sweatpants with a black hoodie, he looked like was dressed for the gym almost.
"What's up" he asked
"I uh..I um texted you last night- my phones kinda messed up but i figured I'd come by and see your face" she answered
"I was just about to leave.. for work" he told
"I know, I wanted to catch you before you left" she confessed, he nodded.
"How's everything?" He asked leaning against the door frame.
"Good, what about you?" She asked
"Fine, did you get the job?" He asked
"I-...I dunno honestly...the contract doesn't sit right with me" she confessed
He nodded slowly.
She was pretty upset he didn't seem as happy to see her. All she wanted from him right now was a hug and a "I missed you".
Evara played with her fingers.
"Did you have any other plans today other than work?" She asked
"I'm..busy all week actually" he sighed
"Oh..." she spoke
He folded his lips in.
"Yea" he mumbled looking down.
He was slightly surprised to see her so early, especially since he was about to leave for work. He looked her up and down for a moment, noticing how she was dressed casually.
