After snorting hard and heavy lines of cocaine all day and night. Evara found herself sinking in the hotel room all day wrapped in the blankets and bed sheets. as much as she wanted to text or call someone instead of sleeping in embarrassment and rage, she kept her words and thoughts to herself.
While Evara sank in her misery, Callum was just now arriving back to his place. Evara had left her heels by the door and the basement door was open while Ben peaked his head out. The heels she had worn were back on the rack..
Ben rushed over to Callum
"Ai buddy you heard me coming in did you" Callum spoke, he realized Ben still had his collar and leash on. He took off Ben's collar and leash hanging it back up. He walked over towards the kitchen table
Looking at the piece of paper she left a few hours before.
"Shit.." he sighed
He looked at the 12 lines of numbers she had called 4 and wrote n/a beside it which meant she got no response or job from the people who offered to train her. It was around 9pm he figured she might be upstairs but when he quietly made his way upstairs, his room was empty. So were the guest rooms. The house was silent and empty again. He figured she was potentially teasing him, maybe wanting to tempt him enough to text her and ask where she is. Which would reveal his patience and worry about her. So he stayed up all night until he gave out figuring she'd sneak in and maybe tempt his gaze. But when he had awaken to use the restroom, the house was empty and silent, still.
He started to get worried, he told himself she was just attempting to rage bait him.
Until she gave in and called him at 3:24 am on the hotel phone.
She called 2x he didn't pick up but the third times a charm.
"Cal" she spoke with urgency
"What.." he replied over the phone he had woken up, he was most concerned with her calling him "cal". He was familiar with Evaras voice.
"Evar-"
"Look, I really need you right now" she says slightly crying breaking down the instant she heard his voice.
"Why- What happened are you okay-What's wrong?" He asked getting out of bed instantly waking up.
"I just- I'm at this hotel beside St Joseph Hospital, can you bring me my clothes out the dryer?" She asked
"I-yea..why are you there?" He asked
"Mads...she's..gone...." she sniffled over the phone.
"Okay okay..what room are you in?" He asked slipping on the house slippers beside his bed.
