"Liv, please let me explain!" Spencer shouts as I try to open the door in his office to finish what I started just minutes ago.

It must've taken him all his might to get me off of Erika and her little friend. But now it's just me and him. And he better come with the truth and nothing but the truth or God won't even be able to help him.

"Go ahead, explain!" I yell. "Explain why you have women in your house at this time of night! Explain why that girl even thinks another woman lives here with you! And explain why that hoe felt comfortable enough to have her hands on you!"

I watch as his eyes travel down to his feet and he looks more nervous than I've ever seen him.

"Talk, Spencer!"

"I was just trying to help her out of a bad situation," he says and I instantly shove down a row of his trophies in frustration.

"How can you be so stupid, Spencer?" I pace back and forth.

"I'm sorry, Olivia!"

"Help her? What did you want to help her do? Were you going to help her take her panties off? Because from where I was standing tonight, that's exactly what she wanted you to do."

"Of course not, Liv! When you walked in, I was trying to leave."

"She didn't have a gun to your head! No one was keeping you there against your will. You were exactly where you wanted to be."

He sighs and opts not to respond because he can't say anything to make this situation better. At least, not right now.

"She's in debt to a dangerous man, Liv. I saw her getting her ass beat by him with my own two eyes. That shit got to me, baby! I wanted to help her. Just like u would help anybody I saw in need."

"Help her how, Spencer?" I yell.

"I told her she can stay here where it's safe."

"How long has she been staying here?"

"Just a day or so. I swear nothing happened though, Liv."

"I didn't ask you that," I say sternly.

"I just wanted you to know—- I wouldn't do that to you—- I wouldn't do that to us."

"—-I didn't ask!" I repeat and he exhales in discomfort. "Had I not come all the way from Philadelphia to surprise you, would you have even told me about her?"

"Yes—- well— I think so— I just wanted to handle it first."

"You think so? I don't want you to lie to me!" I yell. And what are you talking about, handle it? How, Spencer? How were you planning to handle it?" I shout and he drops his head even lower.

"I was going to give her the money to pay the guy so he would leave her alone."

"So you was going to give some random hooker money to make her problems go away?" I ask in utter disbelief.

"She's my assistant—-"

"—-She 'was' your assistant!" I cut him off. "How much?"

"How much, what?"

"How—-much were you willing to pay to help this girl?" I say much slower.

"$500,000!"

"Oh, now I know you've lost your damn mind! Did you even question the validity of this whole story?" I ask and he sighs. "This girl has an Instagram full of vacations and luxury shit. I would be surprised if this isn't all a scam to maintain her very loud lifestyle."

"I watched her get her ass beat, Liv! Bloody—- bruised!"

"She didn't seem like a battered woman when she was dancing all through that kitchen tonight!" I say as I fold my arms in disgust. "You know what, you're a grown ass man. So if you want to give away your money with no questions asked, then go ahead and be foolish. But the least you can do is be honest with your girlfriend about it. I should've been the first to know what the hell was going on in your life!"

"I know, Liv! And for that, I'm sorry! You should've been the first person I talked to. As a matter of fact, I shouldn't have made a decision without you."

"I can't even look at you right now, Spencer. This shit hurts." I cry.

"And you know I never want to hurt you. I love you too much for that."

I know Spencer loves me. That's why I don't understand why he couldn't just talk to me about what was going on.

I mean, I wouldn't have liked it. But, as his girlfriend, it's my job to try and understand him.

"Spencer, I'm going to ask you this and you better not even think about lying to me." I say seriously. "Is this the real reason you don't want me in Dallas? Would you rather live life as an eligible bachelor than to be in a committed relationship?"

He shakes his head no as the palm of his hand slides down his faces

"Absolutely not, Liv! I would never!"

"Never what? Never lie to me? Because you did that for however long you had this bitch living in your house! Or you would would never cheat on me? Lying is cool, but cheating isn't quite your thing, huh?"

He goes silent and the tears in his eyes look too heavy to carry any longer. "I'm sorry, Olivia!"

Usually, his sadness would make me weak, but I'm fuming. And all I feel is betrayed.

"Do you not realize how sick I feel walking into my man's house and hearing women's voices? Only to find out he's entertaining a scammer and her hooker friend!"

"Liv I wasn't entertaining them. Granted, I—- I shouldn't have even put myself in that position. But I'm human, Liv!"

"And I'm human too, Spencer. But I would never do anything remotely close to what you've done."

My head hurts from all of the hoopla and all I want is to leave.

"I know. And that's why you have every right to feel how you feel. But I need you to tell me you're willing to fight for us." He begs and I try not to cry anymore than I've been doing.

I look towards the ceiling as if that'll stop my tears. But it doesn't. Instead, I cry and I shake my head in uncertainty as I walk towards his office door.

"Baby, please!" He cries as his body blocks my exit.

"I don't know right now, Spencer! I really just don't know." I tell him as I grab the only bag I came with and tug at the knob on the door. "Move, Spencer!"

"Liv, where are you going?" He asks.

"Home! I'm going home!"
