Aside from one word replies and being sent straight to voicemail for the past few days, Olivia and I haven't been in communication.

"I've been sending flowers, cards, food. As a matter of fact, last night I sent flowers last night. And this morning, she'll wake up to new ones."

"—-you might have to send 500k worth,"Ashton jokes and I fan him off as I wait for him to finish his set.

We're in the weight room at the Mavs practice facility and working out is the only thing that can prevent me from calling and texting Olivia all day.

"I'll spend a million, if that means Liv and I get back to the way things were."

"Are you talking about the way things were a week ago?" He asks as he slams the weights down.

"The way things were six months ago. If I had it my way, I'd get on one knee and give her that ring. Then send the movers to get everything she owns to Dallas with me."

"Why can't you have it your way? Why can't you get on one knee and tell the girl you love that she's your happily ever after? Why are you making this shit so complicated? It's not rocket science." Ashton questions and I sigh. "Go get your girl, bro!"

Maybe I have been overthinking it for some time now. But Olivia had dreams and aspirations long before we became a thing, I just never want to get in the way of that.

Before I can answer him, the door to the gym slides open and my publicist Brent walks in sporting sunglasses, a t-shirt, church shoes and jeans.

"Who the hell is this funny looking dude?" Ashton asks loudly.

"Yo, where the hell have you been?" I shout as I walk over to him. "I've been texting and calling your ass for days!"

"I got your messages. I just had to take care of some business first. That's all."

"That's all? My life is in shambles and all you can say is that's all?"

"Your life in the media is in tact and that's my number one priority," he comments nonchalantly. "Also, the whole Erika thing didn't workout. So be it. We'll get you another assistant."

"I don't want another assistant. I want my life back to normal before you brought that girl into it! Can you do that for me?"

"Spencer, no one told you to put her in your house and offer to help her. That's on you." He says and I sigh. "The real question is, have you signed those papers I gave you yet?"

"Aye—- you look familiar as hell!" I hear Ashton say as he takes a closer look. "Do you have any clients overseas?"

He doesn't really bother to answer Ashton. And to be honest, I'm not really interested in playing Guess Who either.

"I can't ask Liv about those papers right now, bro!"

"I get it. She's pissed at you. Which means she's not thinking about the papers. Which means you need to just sign them because we may be over the deadline by the time your girl even thinks about helping you again."
