Y/n looked away from the Siberian Husky being walked by its owner from across the street, turning her attention to the woman in front of her.
She was beautiful, fair-skinned with black hair that was a half-up-half-down bun, with the excess reaching her shoulders, and a small mole below her bottom lip. She wore a dark body suit with a white cape. She had a light pink aura to her, but the teen brushed it off, thinking it had to do with her quirk.
Y/n awkwardly stirred her tea, trying to decide how to proceed. She faintly heard the sound of music playing outside of the cafe they sat at.
The lady had the courage to speak up first. "You're having trouble with One for All, is that right?"
The teen's eyes widened as she snapped her head up away from her cup. "Uhh..."
"I trained Toshinori." She clarified.
"Oh. Then yes." She winced slightly as she remembered how much pain her limbs had been in, even when Recovery Girl had healed the injuries, they still felt wobbly and numb. She had just been waiting for her legs to give out from under her. "I didn't think the effects were going to be that bad."
"Your body needs time to get used to it. Acting too reckless can get you killed."
"But not acting quick enough will also get me killed." Y/n countered. "If I don't get control over it then nothing's stopping villains from killing me. They won't care I'm not an adult."
The woman nodded, knowing it was true. "That's why as you learn, you will have help to manage the quirk. Have you filled out your paper for your costume?"
Y/n hummed slightly. "Not really. I don't know what to make my costume look like. I was just gonna leave it up to the Support Course. Mei was accepted there and she knows my style."
"Whatever you do, just make sure to request the fabric to be durable. Quirks get stronger all the time and you want your costume to last. But what I'm talking about is bracers of some sort. Special soles that can aid kicks, gauntlets that help with punches. It won't magically help everything, but it can stabilize and help you limit yourself. It will also stop you from getting one punch in before having to bow out of fights."
The girl tried to remember the key words. She reached for her phone to put the idea in her notes app but paused when she saw the time.
72:97.
Her eyes narrowed in confusion. Looking back up at the black haired woman, the seat was empty. She was gone.
