Y/n felt like most of her time was spent in a daze. She wasn't completely sure what was going on around her.

Her friends had taken her and Bakugo to the hospital, where they had gotten checked out by doctors. Y/n stayed silent as she let the doctors and nurses fuss over her and give her the proper nutrients she missed out on and asked if anything was wrong.

Y/n hated hospitals. She hated the way they smelled. She hated the bright lights. She hated the doctors and nurses. She hated the food. She dealt with it all though. She just wanted to go home.

Y/n looked at Mandalay who walked up to her with Kota who threw his arms around her, not wanting to let go. She relaxed her boy as she held him back. Mandalay asked if Y/n could watch him while her and the other pussycats stayed with Ragdoll. Y/n agreed and gave the hero her address when she wanted to pick him up.

She didn't want to talk to her friends, she didn't want to talk to Bakugo, and she didn't want to talk to the police who all bothered her.

She wanted to go home.

Her wish was answered when her mother showed up at the hospital. Y/n was surprised they actually got ahold of her. She thought she left after the sports festival. Maybe she did but came back when she heard news of the kidnapping.

Y/n didn't know. She didn't care either way.

She let her mother wrap her arms around her in a tight hug, squishing the boy in the middle. She let her mother run her hands through her hair and examine her face. She let her mother cry and say she was sorry for everything.

Nothing changed how Y/n felt.

Y/n wasn't sure she cared about her mother anymore.

She stayed silent as she walked out with her mother and Kota, not looking at her friends lingering gazes. None of them told her where Meeko was.

Y/n felt the lump come back in her throat. Where was Meeko. Y/n felt like a little kid who lost their favorite stuffed animal. She wanted Meeko. He was her friend when she was all alone.

In the car, Y/n sat in the back with the little boy. She quietly asked him where he was. Kota told her that her teacher who looked like a hobo took him. He didn't want to give the raccoon up, cause he calmed him, but the teacher was insistent.

That calmed her. If Aizawa was the one watching Meeko, maybe he's okay. She just hoped she could get him back soon.

When they had reached the house, Hikari quietly informed Y/n that Jitsuko was already sleeping in Hikari's room. Y/n only went in there a few times, mainly to find some jewelry or anything else worth selling for extra money if she needed something. Over the years, the room collected dust and she never bothered to clean it. The other room was Y/n's. It was bigger, which was good because she need the space for all her stuff.
