Todoroki immediately shot ice towards Y/n who shattered it with her power, sending it back at the male who blocked it as cold wind and some shards went into the crowd.

Y/n had to move now. She charged in his direction and the male shot another pillar of ice. This time the girl dodged at the last second and continued on her way. She did make it to him but Todoroki jumped on new ice and ran away from her.

Turning to look down at her, he continuously shot more ice as the girl either shattered it or dodged it. He paused for a moment as his right arm began to shake. "I'm sorry about this, but thanks for drawing it out." He looked up into the stands. "Look at him. he's furious I'm not using his power. I don't have to rely on my damn fire quirk." He looked at her hands. "You rely on those support items, so I can keep going until you break them, right?"

Y/n stumbled as she kept herself from stepping over the white line.

"Let's end this!"

The ice that blasted towards her was bigger than the ones before. Everyone watched in anticipation as Y/n smashed through this with her whole arm this time. The force of this sent the bi-colored male back and almost out of the ring if he hadn't stopped himself with his ice.

As the next ice shard comes close, Y/n jumped and swung her leg downwards, smashing the ice into pieces.

"Why are you still going?" Todoroki questioned, trying to calm the tremors through his body.

Y/n watched his body tremble and the ice that formed on his skin. He has to be overusing his quirk. That's gonna kill him in the future if he never uses his fire. "You think you're gonna get far with only your ice? You're gonna die doing that."

Todoroki watched her with wide eyes.

"I'm weaker than you in certain terms, but I'm still in the damn ring. If you wanna win against me then use your full potential!"

The male frowned. "L/n, what are you trying to do here? You want my fire? What did my monster of a dad bribe you or something? Now I'm mad!" He ran towards her but he was slower than when the match had first started, and he didn't seem like he intended to use his ice right now. He wanted a physical fight.

Todoroki aimed a punch at Y/n, but she pulled his wrist towards her and kicked him back with force, sending him far back. The crowd cheered from the sudden physical force used but the duo had blocked them as well as Mic out, only focusing on each other.
