In which a quirkless teen doesn't mind the fact she can't be a hero, until the Number 1 Hero comes along and makes her life a mess.
When the group made it to the 30th flight of stairs, everybody was panting. "Melissa, how high is this place?" Y/n turned her head, trying to level her breathing.
"200th floor." The blonde gasped for breath.
"That's way too many stairs!" Mineta wailed.
"It's still better than running into the villains." Momo told him.
40th floor, 50th floor, 60th floor, 70th floor.
Iida stopped at the blockage. "The route's blocked!"
"What should we do?" Todoroki looked at Y/n to get her opinion. "Should we break it?"
Y/n shook her head. "We can't risk the villains finding out about us."
"The why don't we go through this door instead?" Mineta turned and reached for a lever.
Y/n frowned. "Wait-"
"No don't!"
A light beeped red on it.
"Dammit Mineta!"
"Is there another way to go up?" The bi-color haired male questioned.
"There should be another emergency exit at the end of the hallway!"
"Then let's hurry." Before the group could run any further, the emergency gates started shutting, blocking the way going forward and back. Iida caught sight of a door, calling out to his classmate. "Todoroki!"
"I'm on it!" He shot out ice that stopped the gate in front of them from fully closing as Iida jumped through it, activating his engine to smash through it.
"Everyone, quick, we can cross through here."
They ran into an area filled with all kinds of plants and trees. Jiro stopped them. "Look, the elevator's coming up!"
"Don't tell me the villains found us." Mineta whined.
"Hide." Y/n grabbed Melissa and pulled her into a bush, the others joining quickly.
Everyone held their breath as the doors slid open and the villains from the party walked out, talking about them.
"They're after us."
"Stay quiet."
"Hey we see you stupid kids!"
Someone jumped and it caused the bush to move. Before they could do anything, a rough voice spoke up.
"What'd you say you bastard?"
Y/n made a face and peeked to the side, seeing Bakugo and Kirishima in suits. They must have been looking for the party when everything happened.
