After a long day of training, Y/n followed Meeko as he led her up a mountain to Kota. "You hungry, kid?" She asked, coming into view holding a bowl of curry.
"No way! How'd you find this place!?"
She gestured to the animal by her feet. "You let fatass follow you around, and for some reason he likes you. Are you hungry or not?"
Kota glared at the raccoon, moving his eyes back to the girl. "Whatever, I'm just fine. Get lost."
Y/n shrugged, spinning on her heels. "Alright. Starve." She began walking away.
"...wait."
The teen paused in her steps and turned her head. "Hmm?"
"I want the food." He whispered, just loudly enough for to hear it.
Y/n stepped closer and placed the bowl on the ground. "Hope you like it, kid."
"Aren't you gonna talk about how I shouldn't hate heroes?" Kota grumbled.
"Why would I? Nothing I say is gonna change your mind." Y/n sighed. "Kid, you're allowed to be angry. You're allowed to be upset. My dad died when I was 8. I'm 16 now and I'm still mad about it. Don't listen to anyone trying to change your mind, just don't let it control your future." Without waiting for an answer Y/n walked off, Meeko following.
It was all up to the kid to come around. Words can't change his mind alone.

After more training the next day, it was finally nighttime. Y/n and her classmates watched with pity as Aizawa drug the 5 who failed from the exams away.
Pixie-bob began instructing the students. "Okay, so class B is going to start out as our scarers. When they're in place, class A will leave in pairs every 3 minutes. There are tags with your names on them at the far end of the route. Your goal is to collect those."
"Revelry in the dark." Tokoyami said.
The class picked partners and Y/n ended up being the person on their own but it was okay cause she's got her little fatass with her. She did feel bad for Todoroki and Ojiro, who got stuck with Bakugo and Mineta, but better them than her.

As everything started, Y/n yawned as she listened to the screams of her classmates as they got jumpscared. Meeko whined and scratched his owner's leg at the horrible stench that filled the air. Y/n picked him up as Mandalay and the others looked around for the source. "There's smoke over there." The teen pointed it out as everyone looked.
Pixie-bob yelled as something pulled her into the forest. Y/n's eyes widened as she felt Meeko dig his claws in his chest. She's never seen him so scared before.
"Let's get rid of these feral cats." Someone spoke, holding the hero down.
Mineta back up. "No way, I thought they were sure no one could find us. So why the heck are there villains attacking this place!?"
"This is bad." Mandalay and Tiger got into fighting stances.
Y/n looked around and realized Kota wasn't anywhere near. He had to be in his hiding spot.
