In which a quirkless teen doesn't mind the fact she can't be a hero, until the Number 1 Hero comes along and makes her life a mess.
Y/n stumbled to the top of the building, just in time to see the villain drop David in the helicopter. "Hey asshole!"
The man turned to face the girl who was glaring at him. "I won. Did you come here to bring this man back so he can pay for his crimes?" He sarcastically waved his hands around.
"No." She ran to him. "I'm getting him back for someone!"
"Even though he's a criminal?" He shot a pillar of stone at her which the teen jumped over, as well as the other ones he created. "Are you supposed to be a hero? You don't look like one!" He continued taunting the girl.
"Shut up!"
"Should I?" He pointed the gun at David, causing Y/n to stumble slightly.
David picked his head up to look at the girl. "Save yourself. Run away!"
As Y/n landed, the villain rolled his eyes. "Geez, being a hero seems really inconvenient. I didn't even use much of my power, yet your helpless!" A stone pillar slammed Y/n back.
She dodged what she could but did end up getting hit.
"Doesn't sound like a very smart way to live to me." He stepped in the helicopter, instructing the pilot to leave.
Y/n groaned in pain as she stood and ran to the edge of the building, jumping off and grabbing the landing skids. She pulled her body up and reached a hand out to David. "Come on!"
"Stop it, let me go Y/n!"
"You're willing to let your daughter go through the rest of her life with you not there? No matter what she's still gonna love you!"
"I'll give you this," The villain chimed in, staring at the girl. "You act like a real hero." He aimed the gun at her. "But you're an idiot too!"
David kicked the gun away as the bullet shot out, bouncing off the walls and causing Y/n to lose her grip.
