Pierce ran towards the slayer and landed a powerful blow to their stomach, sending them flying onto the ground. Sky heard that he had broken some of their ribs.
Sky: “D-Did you just break his ribs?!”
Pierce didn’t hear her. Instead, he was mad at the slayer.
Pierce: “Aren’t you a member of the Demon Slayer Corps?!” “Don’t you understand why Sky didn’t draw her blade?” “Because it’s taboo for members to fight each other!” “You ignored the taboo and hurt her one-sidedly!” “Is it fun for you?” “You’re really the utmost despicable!”
Instead of getting an answer from the slayer, they just started to laugh.
???: “I see.” “Then why don’t we have a fistfight then?”
They got up and rushed towards Pierce while he tried to reason with them.
Pierce: “No, I think you completely misunderstood me.” “First of all-!”
He dodged their constant attacks while trying to explain.
Pierce: “Corps Members can’t fight among themselves!” “I’m not saying that barehanded is fine!” “Listen to me!”
He tried blocking, but they kept on attacking and launched Pierce back. As that was happening, Sky was watching while holding the box close to her still.
Sky: “Didn’t Pierce also commit the taboo?” “Since he broke his ribs.”
Shoichi went up to her to wipe the blood off her face using a handkerchief.
Shoichi: “Your nose is bleeding, Miss Sky.”
She grabbed the handkerchief and thanked him.
Sky: “Thanks Shoichi.”
Back with Pierce; he got thrown onto the floor by them. He quickly got back up, but he was still being attacked. He blocked them, but he’s trying to think of a way to get them to stop.
Pierce’s mind: “This guy…” “He attacks bizarrely low.” “It’s like I’m…” “This is like…fighting with a four-legged beast!” “To lower my attacks, I must stay lower than my opponent!”
He tried attacking lower, but the slayer went even lower and kicked Pierce onto the ground, making his nose bleed.
Pierce’s mind: “This kind of flexibility surpasses an ordinary person!”
The slayer seemed to praise himself.
???: “I’m amazing, right?” “I’m amazing, right?”
Sky: “He said that twice.” “Talk about being full of himself.”
???: “I can do this too.”
He completely bent backward so that his head was under their legs. He laughed, but Pierce was worried.
Pierce: “Please stop it.” “Don’t do that when you’re injured.” “It will get worse.”
But they didn’t care.
???: “That’s great!” “Nothing compares to the momentary pleasure I feel when my injury worsens.”
They got back up and went back to fighting Pierce.
Pierce: “At least, think about your future!”
???: “Like I care!”
Then Pierce grabbed their shoulders.
Pierce: “You need to…” “CALM DOWN!!”
He headbutted them so hard that Sky got a little scared.
