The thread was about to slice Pierce’s head in half when he quickly moved out of the way. It left a big cut in the middle of his face. He fell onto the ground as he looked at his now broken blade.

Pierce’s mind: “It can’t be.” “My sword…”

He got back up while Rui stared him down. Meanwhile; Ein was amazed by Aaron’s actions.

Ein’s mind: “Incredible!” “He’s totally out of our league.” “His blade is out of this world.” “He’s simply poles apart from me.” “He even cut up a rock-hard fiend as if he was slicing tofu.” “He’s amazing!”

Aaron put his katana back into its hilt and looked at Ein. He saw that he was amazing by him but he didn’t get what’s up with him. He seemed unfazed and began to walk away while Ein called out to him.

Ein: “Hold it right there!” “I challenge you to a duel, Red Haori!” “You defeated one of the Twelve Demon Moons!” “So I’m going to defeat you!” “That’s what I’ve planned for you!” “And then I’ll be the strongest man around!”

Aaron turned around to answer him.

Aaron: “Go back to your training, trouble seeker.”

Ein was taken aback to hear that but was also annoyed.

Ein: “WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!?!”

Aaron: “That demon wasn’t one of the Twelve Demon Moons.” “You didn’t realize?”

Ein: “Of course I did!” “I didn’t consider that small-timer one of the Twelve Demon Moons to begin with!” “It’s Pierce who said it might be one of the Twelve Demon Moons!”

As he was rambling, Aaron took out a rope and unraveled it.

Ein: “I was just going by what he said!”

Then Aaron tied him up into a tree, which caught him off guard.

Ein’s mind: “What the hell?” “I’m tied up.” “He’s fast.” “He moved really fast.”

Aaron dusted off his hands, and he began to walk away. Ein wasn’t through with him yet.

Ein: “Hey, hold it right there!”

Aaron: “You don’t even realize how bad your injuries are.” “You shouldn’t have fought.”

But since he was a bit far, Ein couldn’t hear him.

Ein: “I can’t hear you!” “Your voice is too soft, and you walk too fast!” “I said hold it right there and untie me now!” “Hey!” “Hey!”

He screamed at the top of his lungs. Now, with Sky; Aphmau was above her.

Aphmau: “Yoo-hoo!” “Are you alright?”

Sky: “Rai…?”

Aphmau smiles as she questions her.

Aphmau: “Who is this ‘Rai’ person?”

Sky: “She’s my master.” “She showed up and told me not to give up.”

Aphmau: “Oh, you saw your life flashing before you, didn’t you?” “It has been said that people see flashbacks of life at the brink of death so they’ll know how to avoid fate from past experiences and memories.” “But well, I haven’t experienced it, so I don't know.”

She got down and took out a small box with a syringe and some medicine. She prepared the syringe while Sky watched. She then put her finger on Sky’s forehead to feel the poison flow.

Aphmau: “You were smart to stop the poison inside with your breath.” “If you hadn’t done that, you would’ve turned into a spider by now.”

She flick the syringe so the antidote can come out and grab one of Sky’s arms.
