TREVANTE POV
"You know, I was thinking about opening up an acting studio and inviting young people who wanna act to learn from me." I said to Janet as she was giving me a line up at her salon.
"I love that idea. That can be big, you gone do this with Tate?" She asked me.
"Nah. Tate has his own thing, it's time for me to make my move." I said.
"Sounds great, and you can certainly run that by yourself, you've proven that." Janet said with a smile, as she was finishing up and she took that cover up off of me.
"All done" She said.
"You definitely know how to cut hair." I said clearly feeling myself and she smiled.
"And you look so sexy." She said.
"Let me have some tonight then" I said and she laughed saying "We'll see"
"Mhm. Let me get going, I'll see you later tonight baby." I said.
"Alright, be safe" She said and I nodded my head grabbing my phone from her table, sliding it in my pocket.
I left out of the salon, observing my surroundings which was nothing new. I always look around.
I then seen John, the FBI agent crossing the street and I scrunched my eyebrows. He looked back and smirked at me, and for some reason that angered me.
Makes me feel like I'm being followed, and I didn't like that.
Now he's really overstepping his boundaries.
I seen him run across the street behind a building, so I looked both ways before running across the street as well.
I slowly walked up to the building he ran behind, taking a deep breath and looking around because I didn't see him.
Soon as I turned around, he grabbed me by the shirt and slammed me against the wall.
"Trevante... You've been following me?" He asked me.
"Fuck was that back there? Why were you by my wife's salon?" I asked him.
"I was thinking bout getting my head shaved, what do you think it was?" He asked chuckling.
"I thought I told you to stay the fuck away from my wife." I said.
"Is that the thanks I get for letting her stay employed along with Mikayla Waters? And keeping you out of jail?" He asked me.
"I did what you asked, now leave me alone" I said.
"Name Janice Hawkins mean anything to you?" He asked me.
"No." I said.
"Mikayla and Janice are still doing a money laundering scheme despite going to jail for it." He said to me.
"If that's true then why haven't you arrested them?" I asked.
"I ask the questions Trevante." He said to me. "Starting with this meeting with Mikayla and Janice." He added.
"I don't know about no meeting." I said.
"Well you find out. You find out when it's happening, you find out where, you find out who the players are, and I want you this." He said.
