(A/n): My crack updating schedule has finally caught up with me haha. My wrists are killing me! Anywho . . . here's another chapter my lovelies!
----
Waking up in the morning had been difficult - and painful. Your eyes hurt. Apparently late night adventures followed by a movie night was exhausting.
Well . . . that really should have been obvious.
You sat up in bed, stretching your arms over your head. To the right of you, Shoko slept sound asleep. Suguru and Satoru both found spots on the floor, soft snores escaping their lips.
This was the most relaxed you had woken up since the attack. It felt good. It felt exciting.
From beside you Shoko slowly opened her eyes.
"Morning." You smiled down at her before stretching once again, "Good sleep?"
She groaned before turning over to face you, "Yeah. Shockingly good. First time I've not had a nightmare."
Your heart clenched in your chest. You felt terrible for her. "Well that's good then. Maybe you should stay over more often." You karate chopped the air in front of you, "I'm good at fighting nightmares."
Shoko laughed and sat up. "You are. I should totally just come here every night. I mean look at them," she gestured towards the sleeping Suguru and Satoru on the floor, "they're practically inviting me to move in with you."
"Oh my gosh, you should totally move in! That would be a blast."
The brown haired girl rolled her eyes, "I'm kidding darling."
You pouted, "You could still move in. You cuddle better than them."
Somewhere on the floor you heard an indignant gasp.
Satoru stirred, blinking sleepily as he tried to make sense of the commotion. "Hey, who's cuddling better than me?" he grumbled, rubbing his eyes. His hair was sticking up at odd angles from the carpet, though he still managed to look somewhat charming.
Suguru's eyes fluttered open, and he propped himself up on his elbows, clearly confused but intrigued by the conversation. "Did I miss something important? Because I feel like I just walked into an episode of a sitcom."
Shoko chuckled and threw a pillow playfully at Suguru, "You were asleep, that's what you missed. Apparently, I'm better at cuddling than you guys."
Satoru grinned, stretching his arms dramatically. "Ah, I see. Well, if that's the case, we might need to have a cuddle-off to settle this."
Shoko threw a pillow at him, managing to smack him square in the face. "No you idiot! You lost. She thinks I'm a better cuddler. There's no competition that can redeem you."
Satoru blinked in surprise, the pillow sliding off his face as he stared at Shoko. "Ouch, alright, alright. I get it. My cuddle game is weak. I concede defeat."
Suguru sat up, brushing off the remnants of sleep. "A cuddle-off? I'm not even sure how that would work, but it sounds like something we'd need a full scoring system for. And a referee."
"I'd . . . I'd be the referee." You paused, "Actually would that be right? Wouldn't I be the judge?"
Shoko grinned at your playful uncertainty. "Well, if you're the judge, it only makes sense you'd be the referee. After all, you're the one judging the cuddling skills. You've gotta watch out for cheating."
Satoru dramatically clutched his heart. "Oh, the pressure is on! I don't know if I can handle being judged by such a high standard."
Suguru chuckled, "Speak for yourselves. I'd totally kick both of your asses. I'm (Y/n)'s favourite." He shot you a wink, "Isn't that right baby?"
