(A/n): POSSIBLE SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT ON!

Satoru stared at Suguru. "They want to send us on a mission? With her still not in full recovery?"

Suguru nodded, his expression serious as he served the last of the food onto the plates. "Yeah, that's the gist of it. Yaga wants us to go on a mission, and he mentioned the possibility of including (Y/n) if it would make things easier for us."

Satoru's brow furrowed in concern. "But she's still healing. It's not just about her physical recovery, it's the emotional toll too. She's been through a lot."

Suguru nodded, his eyes reflecting the same worry. "I know. That's why I wanted to talk to you about it. Yaga said we have the option to include her or not, and I want to make sure we're making the right choice."

Satoru sighed, running a hand through his messy hair. "We need to think about what's best for (Y/n) as well as the mission. The risk is high, and if she's not up to it, we shouldn't push her into it."

Suguru glanced over at you, who were still busy in the kitchen, trying to make everything perfect. You seemed to be lost in your own world, unaware of the serious conversation happening just a few feet away.

"Yaga mentioned that the mission involves a star plasma vessel named Riko. She's young, and they're planning to merge her with Master Tengen," Suguru said, his tone grave. "The situation is delicate, and there's no telling how it could impact everyone involved. This has the chance to go rotten really quick man."

"Why do we have to go?"

"It's not really about why we have to go, but more about how we handle it. The higher-ups don't exactly give us a lot of leeway on these things. Riko's merging with Master Tengen is crucial for maintaining the balance of power - and don't laugh. I'm just quoting Yaga. And while they sure as shit don't trust us . . ."

Satoru finished the thought, "We're their best option. How long is Yaga giving us to reply?"

Suguru shook his head. "Yaga didn't specify an exact deadline, but it's clear he wants us to start preparing soon. The merging ceremony isn't too far off, and the sooner we confirm our involvement, the better we can plan and adapt."

Satoru sighed deeply. "Alright, then we need to make a decision quickly. We have to think about the implications for (Y/n) and the mission itself."

You, having finished setting the table, approached the dining area with a soft smile. You could clearly sense the heaviness of the conversation. "Is everything okay? I couldn't help but overhear some of it."

Satoru gave you a reassuring smile. "We were just discussing the mission details and whether or not it's safe for you to be involved."

You snorted, "Listen darling, I've done some really stupid and dangerous stuff. I'm not overly scared. Actually . . . uh . . . what exactly are we doing before I make cocky statements?"

Satoru and Suguru exchanged a glance, each weighing how much to reveal. Suguru cleared his throat before speaking, knowing the gravity of the situation needed to be laid out clearly.

"Alright, let's go over it," Satoru began, his voice slightly shaky. "The mission involves a star plasma vessel named Riko. She's fourteen, and the higher-ups are planning to merge her with Master Tengen. They're saying this merger is crucial for maintaining the balance of power among sorcerers and curses. Whatever bullshit they wanna say I guess. Not really important. But the process is extremely delicate and potentially dangerous. I vote that you don't go."
