After work, Emery asked the girls about their plans. Savannah replied, "I'm heading home to retrieve some packages and meet up with my dad." Y/n interjected, "Say hi to your dad for me. And tell him I hope he's doing well." Savannah nodded and added, "My mom won't be joining us today; she's caught up with work."

Emery quickly shifted the conversation back to their evening plans. "Y/n, why don't you come with me to the bar for cocktails? I'm not ready to head home just yet."

Jungkook, who had overheard the conversation, chimed in, "Can I join you guys?" Emery raised an eyebrow and replied, "It's supposed to be a girls' outing, Jungkook."

"Ouch, damn Emery, you're doing me dirty," Jungkook said with a playful grin. Emery responded by blowing him a kiss, which made Y/n laugh. She noticed the familiar tension between Emery and Jungkook. They had both shown interest in each other since college but had awkwardly chosen not to explore it.

Jungkook then looked at Jimin and Taehyung, suggesting, "You guys should do your own boys' hangout." Taehyung nodded, "Yeah, I can't; I have plans." Jimin asked, "What plans?" Taehyung explained, "I've got a date." Y/n turned around, ready to tease her best friend, but she stared at Taehyung, saying, "Don't start."

Taehyung, already grinning, said, "It's not that type of date, bestie." Y/n frowned, shaking her head in disappointment. "My bestie's a hoe," she said, and everyone laughed.

Taehyung chuckled, "What can I say? I'm young, and the bad bitches love some Tae." Jimin burst out laughing. Jungkook looked at Jimin, saying, "Okay, so Taehyung's doing Taehyung things. But what about you, friend? Wanna hang out?" Jimin replied, "I'll pass, dude. I've got to get some paperwork signed by Yoongi."

Jungkook frowned, and Emery, sensing the moment, said, "Sorry, Jungkook, you're on your own tonight." She grabbed Y/n, and they headed out, with Y/n giving everyone a wave goodbye. Savannah went with them, leaving Jungkook to figure out his evening.

Jungkook then asked the other co-workers, including Wendy, Brynn, Timothy, Miguel, Roselina, Tabitha, Henry, Haechan, Kieran, Brandon, and Malaysia, about their plans.

Wendy was the first to respond, "I'd love to, but I have to finish up a project that's due tomorrow. Maybe next time?"

Roselina nodded sympathetically, "I'm catching up on some reports tonight. It's a bit of a work marathon for me."

Tabitha sighed, "I've got a family dinner that I can't miss. We're celebrating my niece's birthday."

Miguel chimed in, "I'm actually heading to a gym class that I promised I wouldn't skip. It's been a while since I last went."

Henry shook his head, "I have a long phone call scheduled with a client. It's been planned for weeks."

Haechan added, "I'm meeting up with some old friends tonight. It's been ages since we caught up."

Kieran, looking apologetic, said, "I've got a prior engagement with my band. We're practicing for an upcoming gig."

Brandon shrugged, "I'm still catching up on some overdue paperwork. I'll be here for a while."

Malaysia looked at Jungkook with an apologetic smile, "I've got some personal errands to run, and I need to head out now."

Brynn, noticing Jungkook standing alone, tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Hey, I'm free to hang out if you are." She was biting her lips, clearly nervous but interested. Brynn, who was eye-catching and subtly flirtatious, continued, "My house is free since Malaysia isn't coming home tonight. I could cook for us if you want."

Jungkook noticed her vibe and agreed, sensing their previous flirtations and the current chemistry between them. "Yeah, that sounds good," he said, knowing they'd had their share of moments as friends with benefits.
