Y/N walked through the bustling streets of Paris with Emery, her mind racing despite the city's romance and charm. The past month had been a whirlwind of confusion and emotional strain. Jimin's persistent attempts to reconnect were a constant reminder of their unresolved past, while Taehyung's unwavering affection had only complicated her feelings further. She tried to distract herself by helping Emery pick out a gift for Jungkook, but her thoughts kept drifting back to Jimin and Taehyung.Emery held up a sleek, black jacket, assessing it with a critical eye. "What do you think? Do you think Jungkook would like this?"
Y/N forced a smile, glancing at the jacket. "It looks great. I'm sure he'll love it."
Emery raised an eyebrow. "You're not really into this shopping trip, are you?"
Y/N sighed, trying to push her conflicted emotions aside. "I'm just...a little distracted, I guess."
Emery's eyes softened with concern. "If you want to talk about it, I'm here. But if you need a break, we can take a breather."
Before Y/N could respond, she spotted Jungkook entering the store with Jimin. Her heart skipped a beat. She had been trying to avoid being alone with Jimin, especially with Jungkook around. Emery seemed to notice the sudden change in Y/N's demeanor.
Emery noticed Y/N's unease and, wanting to help, devised a plan to give Y/N some time alone with Jimin without raising Jungkook's suspicions.
"Hey, Y/N," Emery said cheerfully, "I think we've spent enough time here. I need to grab a few more things. Why don't you stay here and chat with Jimin? I'll meet you at the café in a bit."
Before Y/N could protest, Emery and Jungkook had already disappeared into the crowd. Jimin, now alone with Y/N, flashed a smirk that made her stomach churn. He moved closer, his gaze intense.
"I'm glad it's just us," Jimin said, his voice low and enticing. "Let's go to my place and talk things out."
Y/N hesitated, the sting of Jimin's breakup text still fresh in her mind. Despite her lingering hurt, she felt an irresistible pull toward him. Nodding reluctantly, she followed him to his apartment, her thoughts a whirlwind of conflicting emotions.
Once inside, Jimin led her to the living room, where he gestured for her to sit. He quickly went to the kitchen and returned with a tray of delicious food. As he set it down, his eyes softened with genuine remorse.
"I'm really sorry for how things ended between us," Jimin began, his voice sincere. "I didn't handle it well, and I know I hurt you. I want to make things right."
Y/N tried to maintain her composure, though her heart was pounding. "I'm still upset with you," she admitted, her voice trembling slightly. "I need some space to think things through."
Jimin's expression didn't waver; he seemed determined to make amends. "I understand, but please let me do this for you. I want to show you how much you mean to me." He gently placed a plate of food in front of her, encouraging her to eat.
As Y/N reluctantly took a bite, Jimin's eyes never left her. "Let me give you a massage," he suggested softly. "I know it's not a cure, but it might help you relax and clear your mind."
Y/N couldn't deny the comfort of his touch, even though the offer came from someone who had hurt her deeply. She nodded, allowing Jimin to guide her to the couch. As he began to work on her shoulders, the tension in her body slowly began to ease.
Despite her resolve to keep her distance, the warmth of Jimin's touch and his attempt to make things right stirred old feelings within her. As she closed her eyes, she struggled to reconcile her lingering affection for Jimin with the growing bond she felt with Taehyung.
