Friday
Jimin looked up from his desk, where he was organizing some documents and checking emails. His face brightened when he saw Savannah entering his office after knocking . "Hey, Savannah! What's up?"
Savannah peered in. "Hey, Jimin. Is this a good time, or am I interrupting anything?"
Jimin gestured to the chair across from his desk. "Not at all. Have a seat. I'm just wrapping up some paperwork, and I'd love to hear your ideas."
As Savannah gathered her notes, she looked at Jimin with a thoughtful expression. " By the way, Jimin, I've been meaning to ask—how are things going with the new project you've been working on? I know it's been a big undertaking."
Jimin leaned back in his chair, considering the question. "It's been a challenge, but we're making good progress. There are always hiccups along the way, but I'm optimistic about how it's shaping up."
Savannah nodded, her curiosity piqued. "That's good to hear. If there's anything I can do to help or if you need an extra pair of eyes, just let me know. I'd be happy to pitch in."
Jimin smiled appreciatively. "Thanks, Savannah. I'll definitely keep that in mind. It's always helpful to have another perspective."
Encouraged by his openness, Savannah decided to take a small risk. "Actually, there's something else I wanted to ask. Would you be interested in joining me and a few of the others for a night out? I was thinking it'd be nice to unwind and have some fun. We're planning to head to a bar for some team bonding."
Jimin raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "That sounds like a great idea. I'd love to join. When are you thinking of going?"
Savannah hesitated for a moment, feeling a bit flustered. "Well, what I meant is—would you like to come with the group? It's not just a one-on-one thing. I thought it'd be a good chance for all of us to relax and enjoy some downtime together."
Jimin chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Got it. I'll definitely be there. It sounds like it'll be a fun evening."
Savannah let out a sigh of relief, feeling her nerves settle. "Great! I'll send you the details once everything is confirmed. Thanks for being open to it."
"No problem," Jimin said, smiling warmly. "I'm looking forward to it."
As Savannah walked out of the office, she took a deep breath, focusing on her work and the tasks ahead. Despite her initial nervousness, she found comfort in their positive interaction and was pleased with the feedback and support Jimin had given her. The prospect of a casual
night out with the team added an extra layer of excitement to her day.Savannah made her way to the back room, where several of her co-workers were gathered. She felt a burst of energy and excitement about the evening's plans and wanted to share them with the team.
"Hey, everyone!" Savannah greeted as she entered the room, catching the attention of Wendy, Brynn, Timothy, Miguel, Roselina, Tabitha, Henry, Haechan, Jonathan, Kieran, Brandon, and Malaysia. "I was just talking to Jimin about a night out we're planning for some team bonding. I wanted to see if you all would be interested in joining us."
Wendy looked up from her desk, her eyes lighting up. "That sounds like a great idea! What's the plan?"
Savannah smiled, feeling more confident. "We're thinking of heading to a bar later this evening. It'll be a casual get-together to relax and have some fun. I've already talked to Jimin, and he's on board. I just wanted to make sure everyone else is up for it."
The room buzzed with positive responses as her colleagues voiced their enthusiasm.
"That sounds like a blast," Miguel said with a grin. "I'm definitely in."
