"Look, we need a new story to captivate our audience. I'm afraid our views are going down," says Taehyung, all stressed out, touching the temple of his forehead as his hair exposes his forehead.Currently at Kojae Media, the twenty-four-year-old Kim Taehyung is hosting a morning meeting to discuss the stories they will release.
"There hasn't been anything interesting happening," says Brynn, and all the other workers agree, nodding. Y/n scrolls through social media, trying to search for some inspiration.
"Isn't the Journè Fashion Show happening?" says a determined Emery, trying to find an interesting event for their media company to focus on.
"Yeah, it is happening, but other companies will also focus on this event, so it won't create a big buzz," Jungkook says realistically.
"What if we get access to some celebrity friends?" suggests Savannah.
"Okay, talk to me," says Jimin, waiting for a pitch.
Savannah looks at Y/n. "We are hanging out with Sines, and she last mentioned an event," she says.
Y/n sighs. "We can't. It's exclusive to Sines' career. As much as I like this company, we can't mess with someone else's bag," she says, and Savannah frowns.
"Well, we need something by the end of the day, team. We've got to do something to track before the day ends," says Taehyung, and Jimin sighs. "This meeting is adjourned. We meet again at the end of the day for ideas."
Everyone gathers their papers and laptops, heading for the door stressed out. Jungkook taps Y/n on the shoulder. "Wanna get coffee, friend?" he asks, and she nods. "I'm going to need three lattes," she says.
They both get up, and as Y/n reaches for her purse, Jungkook frowns. "I said drinks are on me," he says, and she smiles.
"I know, but if I want a snack, I can pay for myself, friend," she says, and he sighs. "I guess so."
Savannah looks at them. "Can I get a drink too, Couzie?" she asks, and Y/n nods. "Frappe with extra cinnamon and hazelnut," she says, and Savannah smirks, thanking her.
In the coffee shop, Y/n and Jungkook wait in line, the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans filling the air.
"I think Taehyung is really stressed out," Jungkook says, glancing at Y/n.
"Yeah, I noticed. We need a breakthrough story, something unique," Y/n replies, tapping her chin thoughtfully.
"What if we did a piece on underground artists? There's this growing scene that's pretty untapped," Jungkook suggests.
Y/n's eyes light up. "That's actually a great idea. We could cover their journey, their struggles, and how they're making an impact."
As they reach the counter, Jungkook orders their drinks. "Three lattes and a frappe with extra cinnamon and hazelnut, please."
While waiting for their order, they find a table to sit at. "So, how do you plan to pitch this to Taehyung?" Y/n asks, taking out her notebook.
"We need to emphasize the human interest angle. People love a good underdog story," Jungkook explains, jotting down some notes.
Their drinks arrive, and Y/n takes a sip of her latte. "This is good. Thanks for the treat," she says, smiling at Jungkook.
"No problem. Anything for my favorite coworker," Jungkook replies with a wink.
As they brainstorm, Savannah walks into the coffee shop and heads straight to their table. "Hey, did you get my frappe?" she asks, looking at Y/n.
"Of course," Y/n says, handing her the drink.
