Across town, Taehyung was driving to meet Jungkook and Emery. He had a strange feeling in his gut ever since dropping Y/N off. His thoughts drifted back to her. He trusted her, of course, but something about her going to see Jimin felt off. Maybe it was the way she had been acting lately, or maybe it was the look in her eyes when she left the car.As Taehyung sped through traffic, his phone rang. It was Jungkook. He quickly picked up.
"Yo, where are you, hyung?" Jungkook asked.
"I'm almost there. Where are you guys?" Taehyung replied, trying to keep the anxious edge out of his voice.
"EMI is grabbing drinks, but I'm on the nth ride floor you told me you're coming to," Jungkook said.
Taehyung hesitated. "Y/N will meet us later. She went to drop something off at Jimin's first."
There was a long pause on the other end before Jungkook responded, "Hyung, that's not a good idea."
Taehyung's grip tightened on the steering wheel. "What do you mean?"
Jungkook sighed. "Savannah's been with Jimin all weekend. She's still there."
Taehyung's stomach dropped. "What?"
"Yeah, she's playing her role as his perfect little side chick," Jungkook said, his tone
As Taehyung made his way up to the third floor, his mind swirled with the revelation. He found Jungkook and Emery standing at the bar, drinks in hand. The moment Emery saw Taehyung, she knew something was wrong—his face was a storm of emotions.
Jungkook greeted him, but before Taehyung could even reply, Emery turned to Jungkook with a look of disbelief. "Wait... Savannah's still at Jimin's? What do you mean, side chick? How can she be a side chick if Jimin's been dating Y/N?"
Taehyung froze. "What the hell did you just say?" he demanded, his voice dangerously low.
Emery's eyes widened, realizing what she had just blurted out. "You... didn't know? Y/N and Jimin... they've been dating. For months."
Taehyung felt like the ground had been ripped out from under him. Everything clicked into place—the late-night texts, the secrecy, Y/N's reluctance to share too many details about Jimin. His best friend Jimin had been seeing Y/N behind his back, all while Taehyung had been in love with her for years. Rage and betrayal twisted in his chest.
Jungkook, who had been watching the entire exchange, pieced it together as well. "Wait, Y/N and Jimin...?" His voice trailed off as he tried to wrap his head around it, realizing he had been just as in the dark.
Taehyung didn't wait for anyone else to speak. He turned on his heel and stormed out of the bar, his fists clenched. Emery and Jungkook exchanged a glance before hurrying after him, both equally shocked and confused.
As they caught up to him outside, Jungkook tried to reason with him. "Tae, wait. Let's talk about this. We didn't know either."
Taehyung whipped around, his eyes blazing with hurt. "You didn't know? Neither did I! My best friend—both of them lied to me. Jimin knew how I felt about Y/N, and he went behind my back anyway. And Y/N... how could she lie to me too? I've been with her this whole time, thinking we were building something real."
Emery's voice was soft, apologetic. "I'm so sorry, Tae. I didn't mean for it to come out like this."
Y/N stood frozen for a moment outside Jimin's bedroom door, her breath catching in her throat as the moans and groans grew louder. She recognized the familiar giggles—ones that should have never echoed from Jimin's room followed by a drawn-out, breathless "Yes" pierced through her confusion. She knew that voice.. Her stomach dropped as she realized what was happening behind that door.
