Early Life:
Anubis Gilbert was born on June 22, 1992, in Mystic Falls and lived there peacefully for seventeen years, with his twin sister, Elena, his parents, Miranda and Grayson Gilbert, as well as his brother, Jeremy. They had a quiet small town life, free of the supernatural.
Unknown to any of them, Anubis was born with latent cursed abilities and the dormant siphoner gene inherited from his ancestor Pluto. His powers were too weak, however, and were doomed only to diminish over time.
