I'm laughing at Ethan. It hurts every time, but it's okay.
"What happened to you?" Daniel asks.
"Uh, the doctors said I experienced major blood loss. Nearly died." I tell them. Ethan looks traumatized. "Wh-what..? What did that Penelope girl do to you..?" Ethan asks. I'm confused. "How did you know it was Penelope?" I ask. Now Ethan looks confused!
"On all your computers.. It said 'Penelope is back.'"
"Oh! That was.. Kinda stupid of her.." I mutter, remembering just how smart she seemed. Then, the thought hits me. Did- did she WANT to get caught?? She did go peacefully..

"Taylor!" Daniel yells my name, snapping his fingers in front of his face. I jolt, hurting myself. I wince, making a hissing sound. "God- Yes?" I ask, death staring him. He rolls his eyes. "Ethan asked you a question."
I look to Ethan, who, surely enough, was fiddling with his fingers, looking at me. He bites his bottom lip. "Uhm, Taylor.."
"Yeah?"
"What- Did she.. Do. To you?" He asks, hesitant. I smile warmly, trying to tell him that it's okay, before explaining everything.

After I explain, a nurse comes in. "Taylor? Do you need more medicine?" She asks. I shake my head. The boys look at me. "Medicine?" Daniel asks. I roll my eyes. "For my pain. It's my new prescription. Only for a month."
"Ah."

Ethan's phone dings. His eyes light up, and he grins. "Yay!" He says aloud. Daniel and I look up at him, confused. He smiles. "My mom found me a job!" He exclaims. I smile. "Good!" I say. Daniel is still confused. "You've been looking for jobs?" He asks. Ethan nods. "Your parents may pay for you until you move out, D, but mom said once I turn 18 I'm playing half the bills." Ethan explains. Daniel nods. "Where do you work?" He asks, now smiling. Ethan smirks. "The café we were at the other day!!" He says, with a face eating grin. Daniel looks impressed. "Wow! I'm proud of you, E." He says, nodding. Ethan looks flustered. "Thanks." He mushes, before quickly turning back to me. "So! Taylor. When will you be out?" He asks. "I think they said about two to three weeks?"
"Awh, sad."
"Yeah. And I'll have to take it easy." I add.
"Okay, well, school starts up again tomorrow, so." Ethan mumbles. I nod.
