That night was crazy. The saloon was packed and John had barely had time to think, let alone do much else except serve drinks and flirt with his female customers. And everyone he met, he found himself wondering if they were human or werewolf.

Some of them, he'd met seen already. Repeat customers who had been in more than once in the few night since he'd started working there. He wondered if they were back to see if he was dancing. Not likely. At least, not unless Madeline agreed to it.

He has a feeling those repeat customers were she-wolves. Hopefully word hadn't got out that he might be an Alpha werewolf. It shouldn't have. Only Maddie and Dr. Stella knew about that. He really hadn't had much time to put any thought into it. What would that mean for him? He had no idea, but it was something he'd have to think about later, and maybe ask Maddie about it. He didn't have time now, and neither did she. They were much too busy. And he couldn't wait to get her alone after their shift.

Maddie hadn't even had a chance to move from behind the bar the entire evening. She was making drink after drink, while he was back and forth between her and his customers. He found himself wondering at one point how many steps he'd taken that night. Too many. He supposed at least he'd gotten some exercise tonight, given that he hadn't gone to the gym.

But that might be why he was so tense tonight and on edge. He'd felt that way since he'd gone to see Dr. Stella and it had never really dissipated. He still felt on edge and like too many eyes were on him. He knew it was probably the women, and he should just relax and enjoy himself tonight, but he couldn't. He just felt off, like something was off, though he had no idea what.

He'd been propositioned at least four times by horny women that night. Women he had absolutely no interest in. He was fairly certain two of them had been drunk, but the other two had been quite sober. One of them had seemed rather offended when he'd told her no. She'd been overly forward with him, and had no qualms about touching him. She was blond and very pretty, but she wasn't his Maddie. John had a thing for gingers, not blonds.

She'd informed him rather soon after her arrival that her name was Katie. She had come into the saloon with a few friends, and John was pretty sure he'd never seen her before. They'd specifically asked for him to take care of them, and Katie obviously had money, as she'd been spending it all night.

He thought it rather odd that she already knew about him that quickly, which made him wonder again if word had gotten out that he might be an Alpha werewolf. What was the big deal about that? Something else to ask Maddie.

Katie had taken one look at John and decided she was going to have him in her bed, and she'd made that abundantly clear with her flirtation. She hadn't kept her hands to herself either, and every time he came to the table, she was touching him. And her table was demanding, constantly ordering things, which he was fairly certain was intentional.

Katie seemed to be the ring leader of her little group and was using them to keep him coming back. Instead of ordering all of their drinks at once, they'd ordered them one at a time, none of them ready to order all at once. It was annoying, but there was nothing he could do about it. And even if he didn't approach the table near Katie, she still made a point to find a way to get him over close by so she could touch him. It was starting to piss him off, but he forced his annoyance with her back down.

John walked back up to the bar again. He'd barely had time to check on his other tables. "Maddie, can I get a strawberry margarita?"

"Katie again?" she asked, looking up at him. She looked stressed as well, and he sighed softly. They could both use some stress relief tonight. If they weren't so busy, he'd take her down to the basement and fuck the stress right out of both of them.

"You know her?" he asked, focusing his thoughts back on what she'd said.

"She's Luke's daughter," she explained, as she made the margarita.

John cursed under his breath at that. Just what he needed. The man who was going to decide if he could have brain surgery or not had a daughter who wanted to sleep with him, and she'd chosen tonight of all nights to show up. He hoped this wasn't the game plan. Him having sex with her just so he could have this stupid thing removed from his brain. That wasn't happening.

"Why? What's wrong?" she asked as she finished up the margarita, and placed it on the bar.

He leaned across the bar close to her ear, breathing in her scent as he did so. "She's made it clear she wants sex."

Maddie frowned at him. "Oh."

"She's not getting it Maddie. I don't care who she is," John told her. "I belong to you. No one else. I don't care who they are."

She nodded, but the frown hasn't disappeared, which upped his annoyance level even more.

John sighed softly as he picked up the margarita and took it back to Katie's table. He steeled himself for what was going to happen next. He felt like ripping her hand off every time she touched him.

"Thank you so much!" Katie cooed when he sat it down in front of her. "Let me really thank you," she purred and reached out a hand to rub his dick through his jeans.

John grabbed her hand before she achieved her goal, and glared at her.

"Come on baby. You know you want me. I can give you the best night of your life," she said, standing and pressing her small lithe body against him. She moved her other hand down to grab his dick.

"Katie. Please stop harassing my employees," Rita suddenly said from behind him, making her freeze momentarily.

Katie turned and glared at Rita. "You know it's only with my father's permission that he's even allowed to be here, and that you're allowed to keep this place open. I'll do as I please." She turned back to John and rubbed her barely contained tits against his arm.

Rita gritted her teeth. "And if John was grabbing you, you'd have a fit and expect me to kick him out. You'd be screaming sexual harassment, which is exactly what you're doing to him. I'll find you a new server."

Katie glared at her. "I'm going to talk to my father about this. Come on girls." She got up and walked out of the saloon.

Rita sighed as she watched them go, annoyance clear on her face. She shook her head, then turned back to John.

John frowned at her, wondering if he was going to be fired for this. Or worse. "I'm sorry Rita, for causing you this problem."

Rita sighed softly and shook her head. "It's not your fault John. Don't worry about it." She turned around and walked away.

John heaved a sigh, and shook his head. He knew those girls hadn't paid for every drink yet, but there was nothing he could do about it. Hopefully Rita didn't get in trouble with Luke. Though frankly, if anyone should get into trouble, it was Katie. But she seemed spoiled, and probably didn't get into trouble for much of anything. She probably didn't ever get told no, and he found himself wondering how many of the guys in this place had slept with her. Not him. He wasn't going to be one of her conquests. He belonged to Maddie.

Soon, he was too busy to worry about it, as he continued his job, serving drinks. His gaze settled on a brunette that had walked in alone, and he saw her go sit at one of the small tables in the back. She seemed vaguely familiar, though he couldn't figure out why. Maybe she was a repeat too. He'd seen so many people over the last several days, he wasn't likely to remember them all.
