A month later...

Nothings changed so far. Hailey has barely spoken to Joseph. Marlene refuses to talk Joshua no matter how many times he tried to speak to her. Marlene is becoming heavily pregnant and with her being pregnant with the twins it's not that easy to get out of bed sometimes.

"How long are you going to avoid him?" Hailey asked holding Memphis as Marlene was finally able to sit up.

"Forever." She answered getting out of bed. "Now Aaron is coming with Eliza and AJ in a few minutes so let's not talk about Joshua please." Hailey nodded understanding the subject was still touchy.

Later...

Marlene and Aaron were sitting at the table in the backyard while the kids played with each other. "Hailey told me everything." Aaron said and Marlene groaned.

" Aaron said and Marlene groaned

"The girls gotten bigger." She tried to change the subject but Aaron ignored her statement.

"I understand your anger..."

"Look I don't want to talk about him right now, what he did was unforgivable." She said putting a hand on stomach.

"What he did was unforgivable but it's you guys. What did you tell me after you found out about having twins?" He asked her and she sighed.

"I wanted to marry him." She mocked rolling her eyes. "But that's not the point."

"Marley, I would do anything to get Alex back and marry her. I miss her everyday and I would do anything to take her place. The girls miss their mom and sometimes I can't cheer them up when they think about their mother." Aaron explained.

"I miss her a lot but what is your point?" She questioned and he groaned.

"My point is, is that if you really love him you wouldn't let him go after that. What he did was wrong but if he's trying to make up for it then you should give him a chance." He said and she sighed once again.

"He put our son danger. He put the twins in danger."

"I know but it's not like he did it on purpose. He needs a back bone and he needs to stand up to his cousin. Sure he did when he was in the hospital but now it's not just about him and you. It's about you, him and y'all kids. Talk to him, tell him how you feel." He suggested and she nodded.

"Putting that conversation on hold, I really miss Alex and Toni. They welcomed me with open arms when I first started at 19." He chuckled remembering that so clearly.

"Yeah it's the fact that you weren't old enough to work there so Toni had to lie to the higher ups saying you were 21 when you weren't. Remember your 21st birthday." He said and she nodded.

"You guys put your money together and took me to Mexico." He laughed recalling the events.

"You got so drunk-"

"Ok ok ok." She cut him off. "My son is right over there I don't need him to hear that."

"Alright but talk to him today." She nodded as she watched Aaron's kids bond with her son.
