Dear Earth
Look at me writing to you
All over again

Remember when you left?
It was so painful
I couldn't even breath properly
For the whole year
For the whole damn year,
And thanks to you

Now I'm crumbling
Again, and multiplied
Am I not destined to love?
Wondering why can't I love?

And what exactly the point of loving,
Without being loved back?
Or even worse, being loved but...
I was never chosen in the end

Why?
Why everyone I love, leave me?
You, Earth.
Now, Ongsa.
Just why?

Am I stupid enough, Earth?

Sun took a deep breath, controlling her emotions and also the flow of tears that seemed to be asking to come out. She put her phone on the table, staring quietly at her phone after typing a few sentences on the page of someone who would never read it. All the messages marked with single check mark from several years ago.

Earth is gone, why can't you accept it, Sun? Sun mumbled herself.

That one month passed so quickly, yet it also felt so slow. Her tears had dried. Sun wondered if she could still cry over everything that had happened? She didn't know. After everything, it was clear that Ongsa was dating Moon—she was always with her 24/7. Ongsa's popularity and of course Moon, who easily became the hot topic for her beauty and intelligence, made them the perfect couple that the whole university was talking about. And maybe Ongsa indeed never loved me, or I was just a backburner for her until Moon came back to her? Sun tried to block out the loud voices in her head. She hated herself.

"Stop drinking, Sun. Oh, God. How many—" Kongkwan, Vee and Deer came with a great shock in their face. "Sun? Did you drink these all? Lord?"

"I'm fine. I'll be fine. Don't worry, girls."

"No, you're not." Kongkwan grabbed her hand. "Let's go home."

"She's right. Let's go home, Sun."

A tall, handsome man, wearing a white shirt combined with a matte black jacket suddenly stood in front of the four of them. With his signature smile, he lunged to grab Sun's hand

"I'm sorry for making you wait. Sun, are we going?"

"Pom? What are you doing here?" Kongkwan couldn't believe what she saw.

"I'm here with him, girls. It's fine."

"SUN???" Deer couldn't take it. "It's not the right way to mend your broken heart, Sun."

"Huh? I'm here just to have fun though. Pom offered me a VIP access to this event, that's why I'm here. It's fine. I'm just here for the fun."

"But, Sun."

"Girls, I'm fine. Really. And I'm not drunk."

Sun's wide smile made her three friends feel conflicted. They knew how much Sun's life had been ruined since her and Ongsa's situation had changed with Moon's sudden arrival, and of course, they were worried about every move she made. Sun became unstable, and with that, the three of them tried so hard to make sure that Sun's orbit would never intersect with Ongsa ever again. At all cost.
