"She said that?"

"Yeah. She said that. Just that."
"Ongsa is really secretive indeed." Kongkwan said. "Honestly, I never talked much with her during high school. I remember once I asked Tinh and Charoen about it, but they didn't spill any drops. Not even a little."
"If she doesn't want to tell, then let her be. Totally understand it."

Sun folded her arms, her eyes were busy glancing here and there. She looked uncomfortable, and that clearly made her friends question what was bothering her. A minute later, a phone call received. It was from Mint.

"Baby—Hey, why so noisy? Where are you?"
"I'm at the bar. Didn't I tell you?"
"You did. But didn't I tell you not go to the party?"
"You did? I didn't read that. I'm sorry."

The guy on the line sighed deeply.

"Love, I told you not to come since there's an event held by another university as well. I don't want you to engage since they can be very alcoholic."
"Thanks for your concern, but I'm good. I'm with the girls, and I'm—"
"If I said no, then it's a no, Love." He insisted. "You should not go without me. And think about your reputation. You're the head of faculty in your class. What will they say if they know you're attending this kind of event?"
"For God sake, Milk. I'm here just to have some fun. And I will not—"
"You should listen to—"
"Stop interrupting my words." Love seemed furious. "You can't rule me like that, beside I know how to take care of myself, and if you really care much about reputation, you should be focusing on yourself then. Cause we probably not on the same page here."
"Why are you being so difficult lately?"
"I'm always like this, Mint. And if you're excuse me, I need to cut this line before you ruin my mood totally."

Love put the phone on the airplane mode and took a deep breath to clear her mind. Her friends were trying to comfort the girl, even Kongkwan asked if they had to just go home but Sun wanted to stay instead.

"Sun, are you okay?"
"I am. But it's totally over, I think."
"You're breaking up with him?" Vee asked.
"She'd better be." Kongkwan chuckled. "Imagine ruling Sun like that."
"That sucks, I agree. But calm yourself now, girl." Deer hugged Sun softly. "Let's just have fun tonight and don't think about that guy."
"Thank you, ka. Thanks for supporting me."
"Girl? Duh. Of course we do. We're not letting anyone settle for less in this house." Vee said. "So what if Mint is a perfect person? If he's not a perfect one for you, then you don't have to be with him. Just relax, Sun. So many hot guys are eyeing you."
"And girls. If you need another option. There are lots of hot girls around too."

Deer laughed over her own suggestion, everyone laughed, and the party continued. The four friends enjoyed relaxing music while enjoying their drinks, and the banter that accompanied them as the night sky grew darker.

"Isn't it Tinh?" Vee pointed at a guy with red velvet jacket who seemed busy recording video with his camera. "And Charoen." And the girl beside him who seemed to look tired already.

Tinh and Charoen are here, does it mean Ongsa too?

Sun dismissed her own thoughts. Ongsa's presence was clearly not visible there. Ongsa wasn't there, if she was, she would obviously be next to Tinh and Charoen. They decided to call Tinh and Charoen and say hello, then invited the two of them—who apparently were busy making Tinh's vlog content, to sit down and chat together.

Sun decided to go to the toilet and stopped by the bar afterwards since the cocktail she ordered had run out. The waiters seemed busy on the night of the reopening, so Sun decided to go straight to the bartender. The bartender recommended several types of drinks, which in the end Sun chose one, a drink that was quite thick and bitter, according to how she felt that night when a man suddenly came over to her.
