Five cats sat in the ThunderClan forest. One of the cats looked more uneasy than the others.
Ashfur was still shaken up from the last night's events.
"Well what did you three want to talk about?" Brambleclaw asked.
Hollyleaf stood up. "We all have something to say. I'll go first. Ashfur, I would just like to say that even though we tried to kill each other in the past, i’d like to try to start over. If you'll accept.”
Ashfur nodded. “That would be nice. Thank you for giving me another chance.” he almost choked up.
Hollyleaf nodded and turned to Jayfeather.
Jayfeather flicked his tail. “I forgive you. You tried to kill me once and then saved my life once. I suppose we can be civil.”
Ashfur smiled. That was surprisingly kind, for Jayfeather anyway.
And then finally Lionblaze. The cat that Ashfur had hurt the most out of the three siblings.
After a few moments of silence Lionblaze finally spoke. “I. . . Don't forgive you but I'm willing to start over.”
“I’m perfectly ok with that.” Ashfur said. Not so sure it was true. He was ok with it technically, but his heart hurt.
Ashfur promised himself that he would prove to his new kits he had changed. He would be better.
I promise. I'll show you. I'll earn your trust. And then my family will be completed again.
