: Help :

Ashfur’s vision cleared and he tried to sit up. His legs wouldn't hold him and he fell back to the ground.
He was aware of cats around him.
“-and Marigold I told you that's the last thing we should do!” A familiar voice snapped.
“If all you are going to do is bicker than maybe one of you should go sit in the corner and think about how stupid you're acting.” Another strangely familiar cat growled.
“Can you both just shut up!?” A she-cat yowled.
“Stop yelling.”
Ashfur blinked in confusion. Vixen? How are they here?
Vixen tapped Ashfur on the shoulder. “You awake?” they asked softly.
Ashfur grumbled something inaudible.
“Well stop that.” Vixen sat down beside Ashfur. They began grooming his fur.
Ashfur closed his eyes. He laid there as Vixen groomed him. Ashfur relaxed a little, it was safe here. Vixen would protect him. That was evident from the day at the stream.

Ashfur looked around. He was standing in a black void.
“I appreciate you befriending Vixen.”
Ashfur spun around. A starry grey tom was standing there.
“Who are you?” Ashfur demanded, a little scared.
The tom shrugged. “Unimportant. What is important is that I tell you this, Vixen isn't just a random entity. Vixen used to be a cat. But after they died StarClan cursed them and took their memories. I have been trying to get Vixen their memories back but it isn't easy. I have a plan, but if it works Vixen is going to be emotionally shattered. They're going to need a friend. *You*. Can you promise you'll help them when the time comes?” the tom eyed Ashfur seriously. His yellow gaze seemed to pierce Ashfur's soul.
“I can.” Ashfur nodded seriously.
“I trust you to keep your word.” The StarClan cat turned and disappeared into the void.

Ashfur woke up. His head still felt like he was being pelted by rocks.
A cat was staring down at him. “Well good afternoon. It's about time you woke up. It's been two days.” the thick furred brown tabby backed up.
Ashfur noticed he was balancing on three legs. His right hind leg was bent at an awkward angle and had three large scars across it.
“What? Did you think I escaped a tree falling on me unscathed? Of course not.” Mudclaw scoffed.
“You aren't special enough to have escaped unscathed.”
There's that petty tone I hate hearing. Ashfur thought.
“Well I'm specialer than you, you lost your eye.” Mudclaw snapped back.
“Yeah well at least I don't have trouble hunting!” Hawkfrost responded pettily.
“You do too! You literally were just saying how annoying it was to hunt with only one eye!”
A new voice joined the conversation. “You two bicker like an old couple!” a young black she-cat with an almost perfectly heart shaped patch of brown fur snapped.
Mudclaw huffed with annoyance.
“Well Brambleheart, he's being difficult.” Hawkfrost said calmly.
Brambleheart groaned with annoyance. “You do this every day. Go hunting or something.”
Both toms stalked off, in the same direction.
Brambleheart rolled her eyes. “Those two are so annoying.”
Ashfur sat up. He looked around. He was in an abandoned and run down two-legden. There were a few holes in the walls and puddles of water under leaks in the roof.
There were two other cats in the den.
Vixen of course, looking just as they had the other time Ashfur saw them. And a ginger she-cat with black paws.
Brambleheart walked over to the ginger she-cat. “Marigold, he's awake.”
Vixen stood up and stretched. “Great.”
Marigold blinked slowly. “I still think we should get help from my two-legs.” she mewed disapprovingly.
Vixen shot around and glared at Marigold. “Two-legs are evil! They have monsters! And I hate monsters! One of them killed Shaded Moss!” they snapped.
Marigold looked at Vixen like they were crazy.
I honestly don't blame her. If I didn't know any better I'd also think Vixen was crazy. Ashfur thought.
Vixen turned to Brambleheart. “Where’s your father?”
Brambleheart shrugged. “Why would I know?” she asked, exasperated.
Ashfur looked at Brambleheart, she looked about the same age as his- no Brambleclaw’s kits.
Vixen sprung up. “Hey- no get back here!” they rushed away.
“What the fluff?” Marigold asked.
Ashfur shrugged. They probably saw a spirit or something. He thought dismissively.

Vixen chased after a starry grey cat. “Why do you keep running from me?!” they asked. “Every time I try to talk to you you run off!”
The cat didn't stop, just kept running, Vixen was getting closer and closer.
“If you aren't going to talk to me why do I keep seeing you?” Vixen asked, still running.
The cat stopped briefly. “I told you how you can join ThunderClan, now leave me be.”
“Why am I having these memories?!” Vixen demanded.
The cat looked in the verge of tears. “I can't tell you.” they choked. “But you'll find out soon enough.”
Vixen froze. “What does that mean?!”
The cat rushed away again.
Vixen took a step back. “What does that mean?! Grey Wing, what does that mean?!” they shrieked.
