Just Another Letter On Love.

Chapter 25

"Kim Taehyung." Jimin's voice came barely above a whisper as he rubbed his eyes vigorously to make sure that this wasn't a dream. His eyes widened when he saw the man on the first floor of the hospital, walking with a card in his hand.

"I-Is that really him?" Jimin thought as he kept on staring at the man. He quickly realized that the man would be out of his sight if he didn't make a move now, so he quickly rushed upstairs, tripping a few times.

He halted on his steps as he saw the man enter a room, or to be specific, he entered the room of the senior cardiologist, the grandpa that Jungkook had once told him about.

Jimin sat down on one of the seats beside the room as he fell into a pool of thoughts.

"The guy must be him, Jungkook had told me that Kim Taehyung had a heart disease, because of which he had a lower chance of survival. He was sure that he wasn't mistaken.

"Why had this guy disappeared out of nowhere?"

"Why didn't he confess his feelings to Kook?"

"Is it actually him or someone else?"

All these questions were eating up Jimin's head as he impatiently waited for the other person to come out of the room as he knew that there was only one person who could answer all his questions and that was 'Kim Taehyung' himself.

Meanwhile,

The senior doctor of cardiology department was sitting on his chair, with his glasses resting on his face as he was seriously looking through a patient's file, when he heard the nurse calling in the next patient.

His old yet experienced eyes lit up and a soft smile played on his lips as he looked at the little yet strong man in front of him.

"Well hello grandpa." The man said as he took a seat in front of the doctor.

"Hey Taehyungah...here for your monthly check-up?" Grandpa asked, keeping the files aside as Taehyung nodded in response.

Grandpa did some kind of tests on him as they both waited for the results. (I'm sorry but I have no idea about how this all works.)

"Hm...the results are positive. Your heart's condition is improving rapidly Tae. I guess you'll be completely fine within a few months." Grandpa said, showing him the results.

"Ah...that's good then. I'm sorry but I've some important stuff to do, I'll take my leave now. Thank you grandpa." Taehyung said as grandpa smiled.

"Hey...the letter?" Grandpa asked as Taehyung looked at him with wide eyes as he had almost forgotten to give today's letter to grandpa. He gave the letter to him with a soft smile and thanked him once again before leaving the room.

Grandpa just stared at the letter, a sad smile on his lips as he remembered his old days, his beautiful wife, who was sadly no more.

"The love you have for him in your eyes is true Taehyungah, the road of love is full of thorns, one must be strong enough to not give up by the continuous stinging of the thorns, as after this, lies a place full of happiness and peace, where each and every scar of yours becomes an everlasting memory. The path sure is difficult, but the end is all worth it."

Taehyung quickly got out of the room and starting walking towards the stairs when a voice stopped him on his tracks.

"Stop right there Kim Taehyung." He turned around to see a stern looking Jimin coming towards him.
