The old man said,
"The Mystery Girl is currently trapped by a powerful dead sage. Her best student, Malini, went to her and promised that she will break the cage of powers. They say that she is still trying till this date, but in a secret way.
She is behind everything, in the shadows, but once Mystery Girl is out, very soon, Malini will reveal herself...
And then, History will repeat itself..."

Just after he finished this statement, a gunshot was heard. It had hit directly on his chest...

Sahil's eyes widened as he gasped,
"Don't tell me he's dead..."

The old man's eyes darkened, darker than any alive eyes could ever be. The open eyes showed no signs of life. The bullet that was metallic and shiny now was now buried deep in his heart. His milk-white kurta was stained with his own blood that slowly flowed on the ground below him. His lifeless body drifted down and laid on the floor.

Complete silence, only the sound of two loud hearts beating in nervousness and fear filled the atmosphere.

The gun problem was getting serious. I still couldn't believe that how did she even kill the person. My mind was completely blanked out. My mind refused to believe what my eyes had witnessed. My senses quarreled within me.

Just then, Sahil ordered,
"Suzanne, let's go out of here."

He helds my hand and tries to get me, but fails for the first time.

"Suzanne let's get out of here, please! We can't wait here or else we will be suspected for his murder, too."

When it clicked my mind, I came out from the blankness that surrounded my head. I surrendered myself to be dragged away with Sahil. I felt sorry for him. I couldn't understand what could I do with this newly found information. Because if I tell it to anyone, even I will be killed.

When I zoned in, I found myself listening to Sheetal cheerfully talking about the market and what all stuff she had brought while Sahil walked alongside, listening, trying to be attentive and maintaining a smile on his face.
Only I noticed the tension between his expression and the thoughts in his mind.

We reached home to find Nishant polishing his sword. No one found out about the old man's death, I wondered how. I didn't even know his name but, sorrow conquered my mind for he had died because he gave us a piece of information. The biggest weapon in the world is information, information that can destroy peace between people, families, states, and even countries.

We couldn't tell anyone about the old man, including Sheetal and Nishant. Or maybe we never dared to.

The next day... (Day 3)
Nishant was thrilled today. Because today was the big day, the coronation of the righteous king. We all were interested to know who is going to be the new king. Although, I had never seen any of the Prince, looking at Nishant being excited, my sorrow washed away for a while and I got riveted. I had read many novels in which such exiting situations of a King's coronation were there.
But being in it for real was a mind-blowing experience. I neither know the kingdom's name, nor I know the time in which I am. But still, euphoric.

Nishant does his outfit check.
"So people, I'm going to the coronation of the new King. I'll see you soon..."

Sheetal interrupted,
"Wait! First eat yoghurt with sugar. That's when I'll allow you to leave for the castle!"

"Okay, okay!"
Sheetal feeds yoghurt and sugar to Nishant. Then, as a ritual, she applied chandan on Nishant's forehead.
Looking at this greatness, I asked Sahil,
"He is going to attend the coronation, or going to be elected as the king?"

Sahil somehow contained his laughter, letting out a little giggle,
"These are the olden times. Here, if anyone is going for any small or big events, this happens every time. Believe it or not, it's like,
Humare yaha, aisa hi hota hai."
(This is what happens here.)

Then Nishant bid bye to us and left the house.

After some time

Sheetal opened the door to find Nishant standing out there. I didn't take another chance of opening the door because we all know what happened yesterday...
Nishant closed the door and cried out to us,
"So come on everyone, time for a story!"

We all asked,
"What happened?"

"I'm telling you. Listen carefully...
Once upon a time, there lived a king-..."

Sigh.

Sigh.

Sigh.

Nishant continued,
"Okay, I'm sorry. Stop looking at me with those dead faces!"

He began,
Nishant reached in the palace. Everyone were discussing some topics. He saw both the Prince's talking to each other. Both in royal robes, their each move showed the family they belong to. They were the pride of their ancestors. Nishant showed up and asked them,
"So, whom am I going to serve?"

Younger son: Whoever it might be, you will surely enjoy serving him.

Elder son: Hmm. Brother, what will you do if I become the king?

Younger son: I will lead the army, or become your right hand to make a few decisions more better. What about you?

Elder son: Maybe I have the same answer.

Nishant: The same should happen. Please, promise me, that you won't go against each other after one king is elected.

"Yes, we promise", They both said in one voice.

The atmosphere within the palace changed from a commotion to complete silence as a women in a royal robe enters the palace.

The only sound that could reverberate in the palace was her footsteps matching the beats of the sonorous gold that she wore. The aura the Queen had was strong enough to make any person bow with respect. And that's what happened.
Everyone bowed in respect to the Queen.

The Queen said,
"Today, is a very special day for everyone, including me. I'm going to announce the right person for the throne. It's a great pleasure for me. Many kings have reigned from this throne from many generations. And today, another person is going to continue this chain."

A man enters with the shining crown kept on a golden plate. Nishant's heart was beating as fast as it could. Everyone was in silence, waiting for the order. Both the Prince's were eagerly waiting.
(I know even you are waiting...)

The Queen picks up the crown and takes a moment to appreciate the vibrant gems that were decorated on it.
"The heir who would continue to reign over this kingdom will be..."
She keeps the crown on a head, adjusted it well, her eyes sharp.
"Me."

The decision stood firm, the crown was placed on the Queen's head.
At the end, Sahil was right.
