Nishant enters,
"Hey. Umm, I don't know if I should say or not, but, the reason why the court has ordered me to get you... is... (Checks if Sheetal is there or not.) Because... You are the prime suspect for the King's assassination..."Sahil murmured, "Tch! Expected..."
Sahil came back asking,
"On what basis?""Just because you have suddenly entered the kingdom and the soldiers are searching you.
Also, your avatar was quite wierd when you came here. Now you both look very different. It's my duty to inform you that you are the last people who have entered the kingdom before the King's murder. Which makes you, the prime suspect."
Nishant replied."So you have spies across the kingdom who get all information and give it to the king-... I mean, Queen WITHOUT the people's permission?"
Nishant is a clever courtier who thinks a lot before he utters any word of suspicion.
But still, Sahil has caught him. So, they are in a psychological competition.
Interestingly mad!"No, it's not like-..."
He stopped."No issues. I had seen one last night." Sahil replied.
I felt that I've done the biggest mistake by coming to this kingdom. If somehow they proved us to be the assassin, we will never be able to live, forget reaching home. We would be arrested and killed.
But this was time to search ways out, not to regret the past actions."Can you please keep this information confidential? It is necessary for us as we don't want foreign spies to enter our kingdom." Nishant asked.
"Hmm." Sahil said with an emotionless face, sharp eyes that didn't meet any of the eyes in the room, and his arms crossed and placed on his chest.
I couldn't believe he was the same Sahil who was acting dumb when I asked him his opinion on my look.
"Thank you. Nishant said with a smile and left from there.
I asked Sahil,
"Where did you see a spy? Or was it just a random guess which turned out to be true?"He unfolded his arms and said in a light tone, as if the expression he gave before meant nothing to him,
"I had seen a spy last night when you took me running. He was peeping from the roof of a house. A masked person.""You observed it while running? really?!"
I was a startled as I could ever be.After a while
Sheetal asked,
"People, I need to got to the market to buy groceries. I am scared to go alone. Who knows, someone might rob me and no one will even notice. Can we all go together?"Nishant denied because he wanted to look after the house, too.
He also confirmed that there will be no casualties because people have accepted that the king has died naturally. So I, Sahil and Sheetal decided to go to the market. We went to the market. Sheetal began buying groceries while we started roaming in the market.
We saw shops that were covered with a simple cloth, protecting the people and their goods from the sun. Four bamboos to support the cloth.Chaos all over as the people tried their best to bargain and the sellers would helplessly give their customer the goods.
Children talking around demanding their parents to buy them clay carts and toys.
Clinking of copper and gold coins all over. Bullock carts roaming all around having rich people seated in them while the poor walked under the hot sun.
The sun was high above us, shining in it's whole splendor. Dry leaves all around crackling up as it felt like it was almost the end of summer. After some time, we stopped near the end of the market where the amount of people had subsided and the buzzing chaos was on the verge of getting diminished. All I saw was just a few unknown faces that wandered around.
I felt something radiant entering into my eyes. When I turned towards the origin of the bright light, I saw something shining behind a rock. My mind couldn't comprehend what could it be.
Curiosity governed my mind again. I marched towards it. Even Sahil followed me. When I reached there, I found a small piece of mirror.
"Just a small piece of mirror? I simply thought of so many possibilities of what could this be. So silly of me!"But still, I began analysing the piece of mirror. I knew I won't get anything out of it but still, my curious mind was trying to know what it is.
After a long research of 2 mins, I realised. The shape of the mirror was the same as the shape of the stone in the map which I used to reach the teleport. I found hope to get something now..."Yes, there might be something here. This shape, this shape has taken me here, and now this only will take me out of here." I said.
We both started checking the place. Sahil found a chit near the rock. It was folded perfectly. My hands that took the chit shivered with excitement. When I opened it, I saw that only 3 words were written in it. It was written in English. It was surely mysterious, because it read as...
"The Mystery Girl""Mystery... Girl?"
I asked Sahil.He replied,
"Whatever it is, it's lame for someone to write something like this.""But it's in English!"
I retorted."I have a wild guess of who it can be..."
He said with a hint of seriousness. We knew that we need to find out about this 'Mystery Girl's thing. Just then, I saw a slightly old man who was staring at us with wide eyes and slowly increasing his speed second by second. As if he was trying to get away from us. A second passed in which my eyes just looked at him and my mind just wondered in confusion. The next second itself I understood that he knows about mystery girl and therefore is trying to run from us. So we need to catch him...
