Sheetal then asked,
"Oh yeah! The king's demise was a shocking event. How did all this happen?"

Nishant replied,
"See, this information is extremely confidential, so please don't tell it to anyone. The king didn't die out of an heart attack, it was, a-... murder..."

We were all startled. I could imagine that situation in the court where everyone would be sad and morning for the King's uncertain death. And then the news arrives that he was assassinated which gets everyone more terrified. I wonder what will be the queen's and the sons' condition during that time...

The miserable heart of the Queen, bowed down in grief of losing her 'Suhag', her love.

The miserable hearts of the Prince's who lost their father, who had sculpted their character and seen them grow.

The one who gave them all happiness, keeping them away from all the stress of managing the kingdom, wars and the subjects, was gone.

He was gone.

Gone forever...

The King's comfortable shadow is gone. They are all alone now, in the scorching sun, which is eating them up, not from outside, but from inside.

And in all this distress, the Queen now has to temporarily manage the whole kingdom, which she never did in her life.

Nishant continued, "It was very confusing to know the weapon which was used to assassinate him.
It... was something sharp, which had directly passed through his head. Maybe an arrow. But an arrow can't completely pass through a person's head, it stops inside the head. That's why it's confusing.
We also found some cylindrical metallic object lying beside him. It looks suspicious, but we don't think that can cause the death of the king. It's just too small, which could have just caused a minor injury, not death. It was purposely left to confuse us."

Sahil suddenly got up and asked Sheetal where would he find water. Nishant looked at him with suspicion. Sheetal told me to show the way. Even I became suspicious by his this behaviour.
"Come." Sahil said.

We went to the kitchen. When I gave him water, he denied it.

He whispered to me,
"Did you understand what he said?"

I replied,
"He told they don't know the weapon used for the murder, what else?"

"Wow! How innocent you are! It was a bullet Suzanne! Did you understand the description he gave? It clearly shows that the weapon used is a GUN!"

I thought about it deeply. I recalled all the words Nishant said. The only thing that can pass through the King's head could be a bullet. And also the bullet was found near him. Even I agreed.

"But, How can someone have a gun, in these olden times!? It's clearly not British rule yet and also guns don't exist in this era."

"That's the question which is eating up my head. I guess there's someone, other than us who is come to this world through the teleport.
But NOT unanimously!"

I asked,
"Is this third stranger guy trying to change the history?"

"What can an early death of a King change in a dynasty's history?"

Until then, Sheetal asked us from the living room, "You got it or not? Or should I come to give water?"

I got alarmed at the first sentence, because I thought that she's talking about the gun, but when she continued, I felt relieved.
Our conversation ended there itself and we went to the living room.

Nishant continued...
"We have to find the criminal as soon as possible. We also can't leak this information anywhere. If anything like this happens, there are chances of riots taking place.
Also, the criminal needs to given a punishment without the public knowing it. Because on the basis of the religion of the criminal, again, riots can take place."

Sheetal replied in a gloomy tone,
"Oh! That's so sad. The king was amazing, right? You used to praise him so much, Nishant. His decision making skills were amazing. During wartime, he had handled the city so well. I wonder who would like to kill him. I'm sure they will be from the neighbouring enemy kingdom." She frowned.

I asked,
"Neighbouring enemy kingdom?"

Nishant replied,
"Yes. They are towards our east. Hmm... So you have come from the west side. Looking at your attire, I feel you are one of the forest tribes. Are you lost?"

I paused. I didn't know what to say.
I zoned out,
'He has been told to get us in front of the King (well temporarily it's Queen) still he gives such confidential information to us. He has something fishy in his mind.'

My chain of thoughts broke when Sahil replied to Nishant's question.
"Yeah, that's true." I looked at Sahil eagerly to know what he says...

"We usually don't mix up even with the nearby people. So we don't know the routes of the forest. We have a small settlement. Last week, Suzanne had got lost in the forest. I was given the responsibility to get her. I found her, but I forgot the route myself because I was worried about her. I can't remember the route again. It's been one day since we have come to Sheetal's house, but we no more feel lost... right, Suzanne?"

"Yeah."
Was the only word that came out of my mouth. I was so amazed by his story making skills. I felt he was an underrated writer. That story looked so real and he made it in a jiffy?

I still stopped myself from passing any fake and wrong judgement on him...

Then I said to myself, "I have worn the same clothes since 30 hours. It's so irritating..."

Sheetal asked me,
"Hey, Could you just come with me, for a while?"
I didn't understand that the look she gave me was indicating excitement or the start of another horror interrogation.
I got scared.
