The sun peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow on my room. I rubbed my eyes, feeling the weight of yesterday's events still lingering. My arm was bandaged, a constant reminder of the previous day's heroic antics. I stretched and winced slightly, the ache still present but manageable.

"Another day, another round of chaos," I muttered to myself as I rolled out of bed.

The restaurant was already bustling with early morning activity. Grandma was in the kitchen, her voice carrying out orders to the staff. The smell of freshly baked bread and brewing coffee filled the air, making my stomach rumble. I made my way downstairs, ready to dive into the day's work.

"Eunchae's here already," Grandma said as I walked into the kitchen. "She's been a big help."

I nodded, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness. After yesterday, things felt different between us, but I wasn't sure how to navigate those feelings yet.

I stepped into the dining area and saw Eunchae diligently wiping down tables, her usual clumsiness surprisingly absent. She looked up and gave me a bright smile, making my heart do an unexpected flip.

"Good morning, Y/N! How's your arm?" she asked, concern flickering in her eyes.

"It's fine," I said, trying to sound casual. "Just a few scratches."

She nodded, but I could tell she was still worried. "Well, if you need anything, let me know."

"Thanks, Eunchae," I replied, feeling a warmth spread through me at her concern.

The morning rush began, and we were soon caught up in a whirlwind of activity. Customers flowed in and out, orders were taken and served, and the clattering of dishes created a symphony of restaurant sounds. I moved between tables, greeting regulars and taking orders, while Eunchae managed the register and helped with serving.

Despite the busy atmosphere, there were moments of levity. At one point, Eunchae accidentally spilled a pitcher of water on a particularly grumpy customer. She turned beet red and stammered out an apology while I tried to stifle my laughter.

"I'm so sorry! I'll get you another one right away," she said, grabbing a towel to clean up the mess.

The customer grumbled, but eventually accepted her apology. I caught Eunchae's eye and gave her an encouraging smile. She stuck her tongue out at me playfully, and I couldn't help but chuckle.
