On the Previous Chapter

As we left the aquarium, the warmth of the sun hit us, a stark contrast to the cool, dim interior we had just been exploring. Y/N was still chatting excitedly about the sea creatures we had seen, his enthusiasm contagious, though my attention was divided. I noticed a pair of people near the entrance, whispering and stealing glances in our direction. It was a familiar scenario, one I'd encountered many times before, but I couldn't shake the uneasy feeling creeping up my spine.

Y/N, completely unaware of my growing anxiety, kept talking, his voice bright with the leftover excitement from the aquarium. But my focus was on the two people now edging closer, their eyes wide with recognition. My stomach tightened as I realized they were looking directly at me.

"Hey, Eunchae," Y/N said, his voice pulling me back to the present. I forced a smile, trying to focus on what he was saying, but my eyes kept drifting back to the approaching pair.

The young woman finally reached us, her face lighting up with excitement. "Oh my god, you're Eunchae, right? From Le Sserafim?" she gushed, already pulling out her phone. "I'm such a huge fan! Can I please get a picture with you?"

Y/N blinked in confusion, his smile fading as he glanced between me and the fan. "Wait, what?" he muttered, clearly baffled by the situation.

Back To The Present

Before I could respond, Gyeon Ji stepped in, his demeanor calm but firm. "I'm sorry, miss, but she's not available for pictures right now," he said, his voice carrying a quiet authority. "We'd appreciate it if you respected her privacy."

The woman hesitated, disappointment flashing across her face, but she wasn't ready to give up. "Just one quick picture?" she pleaded, her phone already poised to snap a photo.

Gyeon Ji shook his head, his expression unwavering. "I'm afraid that's not possible," he repeated, this time more firmly. "Please, let us be."

The woman sighed, clearly unhappy but willing to comply. She stepped back, but as she did, her companion—a young man—pulled out his phone, determination etched across his face. Without warning, he stepped forward, his phone raised high, aiming directly at me.

The flash startled me, and I instinctively turned away, trying to shield myself from the unwanted attention. Y/N, who was still trying to process what was happening, suddenly snapped into action. He moved quickly, stepping in front of me to block the man's view, his hand raised in a defensive gesture.
