We messed up, big time

Red's POV

Chloe and I succesfully saved Auradon from my Mom's violent coup. The school year starts in a few weeks, and we're still figuring out how to deal with the fact that our mom's are best friends and lots of things that are different from how they were before we time traveled, though it changes with time. Like, when we first got back, Chloe and I tried going to Wonderland, but couldn't get through the magical barrier, and two days later turns out Auradon's Royalty, AKA Beast and Belle, never put up a barrier in the rabbit hole, according to Fairy Godmother. My mom goes by Queen Bridget now, though she doesn't like being called "your royal highness", and says it's just a tittle, instead what really matters to her is that her people trust her.

For me it's been easy getting used to Auradon's new form, usually only little things are different, King Ben and Queen Mal just had a baby and are back in town, Fairy Godmother's hair is blonde and short, Aubrey and Jay are getting married, shit like that. As I never knew how Auradon was before, I'm not having a problem with it.
Chloe, on the other hand...

- WHAT DID WE DO RED?! We messed up history, big time! - Chloe shouts as she comes inside my dorm room.

- Woah, woah, calm down, Chloe. We didn't mess anything up, we made some changes in the past, which obviously changes the future slash present a bit. There's nothing to worry about, your mom's okay, my mom is not evil and the people in Auradon are safe and sound. - I say, trying to calm her down.

- I'm trying, I am. It's just... Hard, you know? It's been almost 2 weeks and things keep changing, I can't keep up. - Says Chloe with a hint of sadness and preocupation.

- Look, that's why we need to write things down, so we can get together once a day and discuss what's changed, alright?

I put both of my hands on each one of her shoulders, trying to let her know it's going to pass. We agreed on meeting often so we could tell each other what's different. It's a great plan, plus, I get to see my only friend everyday, as much as I wanna suffocate her sometimes, she's the only thing that feels normal these days.

- What if someone notice, I mean, what if people start disagreeing on facts, like a mandela effect.- Chloe lowers her head and tone.

- Then that's all it'll be, a mandela effect, stop worrying so much, we'll be okay. - I try to make my voice reassuring

- Alright.

- Good. Now, tell me what you found out today.

The Charming girl puts out her notebook, which is neat, blue and has a white pen attached to it's side. She starts looking through her notes, each page is dated, so she shifts through the pages until she finds today's date.

- Okay, so, Jane has a twin brother named Nate, Lonnie is no longer Lonnie, she's a he, like biologically, and his name is Landon, but has an older sister named Lydia. Also I have a dog and there's no jabberwocky anymore. - Chloe looks at me smiling as she says the last bit.

- There is no jabberwocky?! Damn it, how am I supposed to get rid of you now? - I said in a serious tone but laugh it off after I see Chloe didn't get the sarcasm. I clear my throat - Anyways. I found out that Jasmin and Aladdin are not together, though they did get married a few years ago, but got a divorce over him going on a ride in the magic rug with someone else if you know what I mean.

- Ew, concentrate please. - Says the blue princess with a face of disgust.

- You're no fun. - I get back on track.- Uhm, well my mom's hair grew hints of pink today, but I don't think it'll change any further and purple was added to the colors of Auradon.

- Good, no mayor issues then.

- See, I told you, we're fine. - I said getting off my bed and walking towars Chloe. - Now, get up, we're grabbing dinner with your very much alive mother.

Chloe smiles and gets up, putting her notebook away. She knows I'm trying to become a better friend and a better person. Part of that is trying new things, like eating dinner at your friend's house. We walk out the door and make our way to Cinderellasburg. The Charming's chauffer drives us to Chloe's home, we sit far apart from each other in the car and barely speak during the ride. Honestly, is a comfortable silence, I love how she gives me space to keep quite and doesn't question it.

Chloe's POV

Once we get to my house we wait for the gate to open, meanwhile Red is looking out the window, admiring the bright of Cinderellasburg. I just love how she can now go out to the world and meet new places. Though I feel sad she didn't get to do it when she was younger like I did, but I guess better late than ever.

While I was deep on my thoughts, Princess Red notices that the gate is still closed.

- Dude, we've been here for like 10 minutes, isn't this like a fancy ass magic gate?, it should've opened right away.

- First, language please, you're greeting my parents with that mouth, and second, yes, it should have opened right away.

I lean over and tap softly on the limo's inside window that separate us from the driver. Nothing. I tap again, this time a bit harder. Nothing. Red loses her patience and gets off the car and walks to driver. When she gets in front of the driver's windows her eyes widen. I see her mouthing a "What the..." followed by a bad word. I get off the car and walk to her.

- Hey, what did I say about saying bad w... Oh my god.

I got cut off by my own surprised. The driver's not there, did he disappear? Of course he did! We messed with time, we changed history.

- He's gone. - Red states with a tone I can't figure out. - Did we do this?

- I think we did. How did this happen? - I ask worried. - Is it going to keep on happening?

- I don't know, I hope not. Do you know who he was? Where he was from, who were his parents?

- Yeah, actually I do, my parents told me his parents scaped from wonderland, but not together, they met while they were on the run from your mother, when she was the Queen of Hearts.

I say confused as of why she would ask me the driver's life story. Red looks at me and then her face goes white.

- What's wrong? you're pale, are you feeling alright? - I ask, worried.

- Chloe, we messed up, big time.
