Red's POV

My heart races as I pull up to Chloe's house, my breath coming in short, sharp bursts. After leaving her place, I went home, only to find the house empty. I called out for my parents, searched every room, but they were nowhere to be found. Panic has been clawing at me ever since, and I've been struggling to keep myself together. The lights in Chloe's house are dim, and I'm filled with a sense of urgency and dread as I hurry up to the front door. My hands are shaking as I fumble with the doorknob, but in my frantic state, I don't even think to knock. I just burst inside, my desperation spilling out.

- Chloe! - I call out, my voice trembling with urgency. - Chloe, I can't find my parents anywhere! They weren't home when I got there, and I'm so scared something terrible has happened!

The house is eerily quiet, and my footsteps echo as I move through the foyer, heading straight for the living room. I feel like I'm suffocating under the weight of my fear, and I'm trying to hold it together, but it's so hard. My hands grip the edges of the couch as I glance around, hoping for some sign of Chloe.

That's when I see her.

Chloe is sitting on the floor, curled up in a tight ball. Her posture is one of complete despair, and her face is streaked with tears. The sight of her like this stops me in my tracks. Her eyes are distant and unfocused, and she looks utterly lost.

- Chloe? - I say softly, taking a cautious step closer. - What's wrong, Chlo? Are you okay?

Her gaze shifts slowly towards me, her eyes wide and filled with shock and pain. She doesn't speak right away, and her silence only heightens my concern. I kneel down beside her, my heart aching at the sight of her in such distress.

- Chloe, please, talk to me. - I beg, reaching out to gently touch her shoulder. - What happened? Her voice is barely a whisper, filled with anguish.

- Uliana... - Chloe manages to say, her voice cracking. - She's taken them. She's taken Fairy Godmother's wand and the pocket watch. She's planning to go back in time...

My heart skips a beat as I process her words.

- What? - I ask, my voice trembling. - What is she planning to do with them?

Chloe's breathing is ragged as she continues.

- She's going to travel back before Auradon was united. - Chloe explains, her voice breaking. - She wants to take Beast and Belle's place as queen. She wants to rewrite history and rule over everything.

The realization crashes over me like a cold wave.

- She can't be serious... - I murmur, feeling a knot of fear and frustration tighten in my stomach. - We have to stop her, Chloe. We need to do something, anything.

Chloe nods, her tears never stopping.

- I know. - She says, her voice barely audible. - And there's more. Uliana, she put everyone at the dinner party into a deep, enchanted slumber. She took the wand and the pocket watch while they were unconscious.

A chill runs down my spine.

- What about my parents? - I ask, my voice quivering.

Chloe's eyes are filled with sorrow.

- They're... they're in the same enchanted slumber. Uliana made sure of it. She wanted to ensure there was no interference. She used Maleficent's magic to put them all under.

My chest tightens with a mix of fear and anger.

- We need to get them out of there, Chloe. - I say, my determination rising despite the fear. - We have to find a way to wake them up and stop Uliana before she changes everything.

As Chloe speaks, I'm struck by how vulnerable she looks. She's never been this broken, and it pains me to see her like this. Even though I'm scared and overwhelmed, my focus is on her. I gently reach out, taking her hand in mine, trying to offer some comfort amid the chaos.

- Chloe, it's going to be okay. - I say softly, my voice filled with gentle reassurance. - We'll figure this out together. You're my priority right now, okay? Nothing is more important to me than you.

Chloe's tear-filled eyes meet mine, and I can see a glimmer of hope in them as she clings to my hand. I take a deep breath, pushing aside my own fears to be the support she needs.

- I'm here for you, Chloe. - I continue, my voice steady despite the tremor in my heart. - We'll get through this. We'll stop Uliana, and we'll make things right.

Chloe nods slowly, her breathing evening out as she draws strength from my words and my presence. I pull her into a gentle embrace, my arms wrapping around her protectively. Her sobs gradually soften as she rests her head against my shoulder, finding solace in my closeness.

- I'm so sorry. - I whisper into her hair, my voice filled with genuine empathy. - I didn't know this was happening. We'll find a way to fix it. I promise.

Chloe clings to me, her grip tight as if she's trying to hold on to any semblance of normalcy. We sit there in silence for a few moments, the weight of our situation pressing heavily on us both. As we pull back slightly, I notice a flicker of resolve in Chloe's eyes.

- We need to act fast, Red. - She says, her voice regaining some of its steadiness. - Uliana is already planning her attack on the past. We need to find a way to stop her and save everyone.

- You're right. - I say, nodding. - Let's start by contacting everyone who might be able to help. We need to gather information and resources. We can't let her win.

Chloe's eyes search mine, her trust in me evident despite the turmoil. I can see the determination slowly returning to her expression.

- Thank you for being here. - Chloe says quietly. - I don't know what I would do without you right now.

- You don't have to worry about that. - I reply, my voice filled with warmth. - I'm not going anywhere. We're in this together, and we'll face whatever comes next as a team.

We stand up together, our hands still intertwined. Despite the fear and uncertainty, there's a newfound sense of purpose between us. We start making plans, our shared determination giving us both a renewed sense of hope.

As we work together to call for help and devise a strategy, the weight of the situation is heavy, but there's also a profound sense of connection between us. No matter what happens next, we'll figure it out, we always do.
