Chloe's POV
As the night slowly descends, the sky darkening into deep blues and purples, Red and I cling to each other, still trembling from the intense moments we've shared. The boat gently rocks beneath us, a comforting rhythm that soothes our racing hearts.Red's fingers brush against mine, and I can feel the lingering warmth from our passionate encounter. I glance at her, noticing the way her eyes are still filled with tenderness and awe.
There's a softness in her gaze that makes my heart swell, a reminder of how deeply we connect.Red navigates us back towards the dock in Auradon, the shimmering lights of the city reflecting off the water's surface. Each gentle wave seems to carry away the last remnants of our intense experience, leaving behind a calm and serene afterglow.
Red helps me out of the boat, her touch lingering on my arm as we make our way onto the dock. The cool evening air contrasts with the warmth still lingering between us, and I shiver slightly, a combination of the night chill and the echoes of our shared passion. Red notices, her eyes softening with concern as she wraps an arm around me, guiding me towards her car.
- You okay, Chlo? - She asks, her voice tender and filled with care.
- I'm more than okay. - I reply, my voice steady despite the lingering tremors. - That was... incredible.
- Yeah, I feel the same way. - Red smiles, a mix of pride and relief crossing her features.
She helps me into the car, and once we're both settled, she starts the engine. The car hums softly, and the gentle vibrations add a soothing touch as we drive through the quiet streets of Auradon. The city lights pass by in a blur, casting a warm glow that contrasts with the cool night air. Red's hand rests on the gear shift, her fingers occasionally brushing against mine. The silence between us is comfortable, filled with the unspoken understanding of the bond we share.
As we approach my house, I look over at Red, my heart full of gratitude and affection.
- Thank you for tonight. - I say softly, my voice barely above a whisper. - It meant more to me than I can put into words.
Red glances at me, her expression a mix of happiness and vulnerability.
- I'm glad, Chlo. - She replies, her voice earnest. - I wanted tonight to be special for us.
She pulls up to my house, the porch light casting a soft glow on the front steps. I turn to her, my eyes reflecting the deep emotions I feel.
- I'll see you tomorrow? - I ask, a hopeful tone in my voice.
- Absolutely. - Red says with a smile that warms my heart.
I lean over and give her a gentle kiss on the cheek before stepping out of the car. As I walk up the steps, I glance back at her. Red's car sits there, a silent promise of the future we're building together. The night is still young, and though the events of the evening have left us both trembling, there's a profound sense of peace and connection that carries me as I enter my home.
As soon as I close the door behind me, an unsettling feeling fills the air, as if someone is watching me from the shadows.
- Mom? - I call out, my voice trembling slightly.
- Oh no, sweetie. - The voice replies coldly. - Mommy is not here to help you.
I take a step back, my eyes wide as I take in the monstrous figure before me.
- What are you doing here? - I demand, my voice cracking with fear.
- What? You thought I'd let you go so easily? - Uliana's voice drips with malice, and a sinister smile spreads across her face. - What's a villain without their hunger for a little revenge, huh?
