Naina’s Pov

“Boss, people of Udaipur came to the public court and they are furious” I heard Akshit's Voice, he squeezed my hands assuring me everything would be okay. The people in Hall started whispering while my heart crumpled in fear.

“Okay, I am coming” his tone was cold and emotionless while my heart thumped in fear. I knew things were not going to end well, I was just feeling like this. Mahadev, Please do not let any bad thing happen.

He walked in the direction while I followed him along with the family members. We were walking in the corridor and soon we stood in an open area, the cold breeze hit my face. It was a terrace and there were alot of murmuring and shouting downwards, it meant there were many people standing on ground.

“Khamma Ghani”(“Greetings “) His cold and authoritative voice echoed in the area and the people got silenced.

“If you all are here on such an important day, it must be a big issue, please proceed” He said while I stood in silence praying that it was not about me.

“Rana sa, You married secretly okay fine we accept it, But we won't accept a queen who is blind, who cannot see herself what future will she hold. We people of Udaipur will never take her as queen. Therefore, we demand a separation and a queen who is capable of taking care of Udaipur not a blind child whose parents are criminal, we will not accept this” Said a man from that crowd while I stood stunned, I never knew this would happen due to my blindness, I never wanted this not for him. Will he leave me now? Of Course he will, he married me for this only people matter to the king, but what about me? It is not my fault but why they are blaming me for something I haven't done.

“Is this your final decision?” He asked coldly while the whole crowd shouted in agreement and my hope shattered. I never knew the happiest day would turn like this, I knew it, I am bad luck to everyone.

“YESSSSS, WE WANT A CAPABLE QUEEN” The crowd shouted and my heart crumpled, am I that bad?

“A king must fulfill his duties, and take care of his people. I couldn't process what just happened, I never expected this, nor I wanted to. He worked hard for his reputation and it happened just because of me, Why God? Why are you testing me every phase? I didn't want this, just when I thought we were going to be normal it happened.

I was walking in the corridor when someone stopped me by holding my wrist and pulled me harshly in a corner.

“Mil gayi kaleje ko thandak, yaha bhi sabki zindagi mein aag laga di” I heard the voice of Kaki sa,(Aunt ) and a tear rolled down to my eyes. ("The heart feels at ease now; you've set everyone's lives on fire here too.”)

“What are you doing here?” I couldn't help but ask, as last time Maa sa asked them to not show their face.

“Ofcourse we will be here, otherwise your beloved family and you will face a lot of questions, but that is not the point, look what you did?”She accused me of something I haven't done.
