“Kya ho raha hai yaha par?” Naina heard a familiar voice and squealed in happiness. (What's happening here ?)
“Maa Sa” ( Mother in law ) She got up from the bed and ran in her direction and without any warning hugged her tightly. For a moment Abha melted in the hug but regained her composure.
“Maa sa( Mother in law), how are you?” Naina asked while Abha looked at Sanvi who was standing with the box of sweets.
“Naina aapko aise koi bhi cheez nahi khani chahiye” Her tone was strict and Naina pouted a little. ("Naina, you should not eat such things.")
“Par maa sa ye koi bhi cheez nahi hai, ye toh mithai hai aur bahut tasty. ("But, Mom, this is not just any random thing; it’s a sweet, and it’s very tasty.") Wait– She went towards Sanvi and took the box with her and came back to Abha, she took one piece and extended towards her mouth–Kha kar dekhiye, isme toh Sanvi ke maa ke hath ka Jaadu hai” She said while Aabha stared at Sanvi, who left room to save herself from scoldings. ("Try it; it has the magic of Sanvi's mom's hands in it.")
“Maa sa, Khakar toh dekhiye, ye bahut kya bolte hai veer vo ha! Swadisht hai”She said dramatically while Abha gave in to her stubbornness and took it in her mouth while Naina got excited to know her view. ("Mom, just try it; it's very... what do they say, oh yes! Delicious.")
“Kaise hai?” Naina asked, wiggling her bross while Aabha smiled at her childishness. (How it is ??)
“Bahut acche” She said, caressing her hair and pecking her head. She has started taking Naina as her own daughter and she has promised herself to do anything to make her happy and comfortable. ( Very tasty )
“You know you're just like My friend” Her voice was soft and painful while Naina frowned a little.
“Which friend?”She was excited to know the person who is similar to her.
“You don't know her, Beta”she exclaimed softly wiping her tears while Naina nodded to obvious information.
“Of course I don't know her, par jaan jaungi” Her tone was playful while Aabha stood silent. ("but I'll get to know her.")
“Vo ab nahi hai is duniya mein, par Jaha bhi ho khush ho” She said while Naina's smile dropped and tears filled her eyes. She is very sensitive and when she comes across a situation like this she couldn't help but cry. ("She is no longer in this world, but wherever she is, I hope she is happy.")
“Aree beta don't cry, shhh” ("Oh dear, don’t cry, shhh.") Aabha tried to console her but being used to a rough and tough attitude for years she was finding it difficult to do it and that's when a regret filled her she was never there for kids to console them to love them.
