“Is she okay? Is she eating well? Is everyone treating her well? Is she putting too much pressure on herself?” The words rolled off my tongue while Vani sighed in frustration.

“Ek Mahine se aapka yhi chal raha hai itni fikar hai toh wapas kyu nahi chale aate aap”She said in frustration, it's been a month since I was in Chicago. It's not easy for me to live without her but I cannot force her with me. ("This has been going on with you for a month now. If you care so much, then why don’t you come back?")

“Just Answer my question,” I said in a stern tone while she sighed in irritation.

“Bhai sa, aap ek baar aakar baat kyu nahi kar lete bhabhi sa se, us samay vo gusse mein thi par ab nahi” I know but she hasn't call me even once that means she is happy without me and I don't want to make things awkward for her. She has everyone, Mrs. Rajvansh, dad, dadi sa, Rishi, Vihan, Vani as well. ("Brother, why don’t you come and talk to sister-in-law once? She was angry at that time, but not anymore.")

“I don't think it is needed, Now tell me is she okay?” I have no courage to go in front of her when she has no feelings for me. I am scared of what will happen if she leaves me. What if she asked for separation, at least this way we share a relationship.

“Of Course it is needed, will you never come back?”My heart stopped, will she never accept me? Will she never love me back?

“Whenever she desires, I will be there”I will do it only if she wants me to come. I have no courage to hear those bitter words, it hurts me and I know my baby gets hurt too after saying that and she need not to feel bad, she only deserves happiness not sadness.

“Fine then listen, she has not eaten anything for the past three days, everyone is tired of pestering her but she didn't talk to anyone. She is mostly in her room, she barely gets out. Everyone is tense, I was trying to persuade you to come back without panicking but I guess you need to know the truth”I stood up from my chair, why the hell was she hiding it from me.

“And you're telling me now? Three days? You lied to me she is fine and happy, how could you Vani?” I can't believe my baby is in pain and not talking to anyone. What could it be? Is she missing her family?

“I am also asking you to come back from so many days, I didn't want to panic you but guess what you both are the same. Now, it's your choice if you want you can come or stay there life long”She hung up on my face, Naina effect. I got tensed, she was starving for the last three days and I had no clue about it. I was feeling like a monster, why my baby is so upset, that she is not even eating.

Without wasting any second I dialed her number, I prayed that she would pick the call, but the call returned to voice mail. I called it two more times but she didn't pick up, but I am not going to give up. I tried to call but the call didn't connect. I frowned at it and immediately opened her contact. It was saved as Nayan ❤,I saw her profile pic was removed, without any thoughts I sent her a voicemail.

“Angel, did you remove your dp, it's not showing. Angel baby pick my call. I need to hear your voice. Please baby you haven't eaten, please pick my call baby”The voice mail was sent but yet not delivered I frowned in confusion.
