“I am sorry to say, but I don't think she will be able to see again, there is no chance.” the doctor said after checking up, Naina's heart dropped in her stomach, she sat frozen at her place.
Yashveer was stunned with this information. He was feeling like choking the doctor, not because of the news but the way he said in front of Naina. It was not needed, definitely not needed, she was vulnerable and had a hope of seeing this world but he crushed her hope.
His eyes went to Naina who was sitting silently on the chair. Her face was void of emotion but there was a storm going inside her.
“Doctor, there must be a way. You have to do something” Yashveer said in a serious tone while Naina sat unbothered, witnessing her only hope dying.
“I am sorry Mr. Rajvansh but there's no way, I can't give a false hope” Yashveer's heart clenched in pain,but he didn't give up, he was ready to do anything for his Naina, to go to any extent.

“ENOUGH,” Naina cut him off in between, she didn't like his Veer pleading to someone, that too because of her. She stood up and walked outside with her walking stick, but Yahsveer held her hand and walked with her. Slowly she folded her stick and walked with him while holding his hand.
She was silent while Yashveer was just looking at her trying to get what was going inside her brain.
“Nayan we will do more check ups, everything will be okay baby, you will see baccha don't lose hope I am here with you, you don't need to worry” He tried to console her but she walked silently without even responding.
He helped her to get inside the car, the ride was silent. Naina was silent, she didn't speak a word since she had come out of the doctor's cabin.
“Stop the car near the mall” Said Yashveer and the driver nodded, the driver stopped the car.
“Nayan let's go and get your princess edition toothbrush”He tried to cheer her up but he knew it was a failed attempt, he knew how much Naina was happy and now her hope is shattered. He helped her to get down and she walked silently without any protest.
He went to the kids section and started looking for the toothbrush.
“There are so many, which type do you want? There is a princess in green dress with blond hair, there is one in blue dress with very long hair, there is a teddy bear, and a bunny tooth brush, which one do you want?” She stood silent and didn't respond to his questions. He was feeling her pain and it was breaking him apart, he couldn't see her Nayan like this, but he could do nothing.
“I am buying all because they all are cute but not more than you” He said and took the brush of the whole section. He would buy anything which will make his Nayan happy but sadly no materialistic thing could ease her pain.
