You were still upset because of yesterday. Knowing that Mineta thought you were dumb just meant that the whole class must think it, and of course your mother thinks it as well— but you already knew that.

You kept your head down on your desk most of the day, trying to hide from your classmates as yesterday's embarrassment ran through your head.

"Why did I leave the room?" You whispered to yourself. "Why can't I just be a little bit smarter?"

As the bell rang, Aizawa made an announcement.

"Remember everyone, finals are coming up." Aizawa said. "Be ready for the academic test as well as the physical test."

You shook your head against your desk. "This is bad."

You knew very well that you had a chance of failing the academic test. You had a bit more confidence for the physical test.

"L/n" Yaoyorozu said as she walked up to your desk with her bag on her back. "Wanna study for the final with us?"

You shook your head against the desk again.

She tilted her head at you. "Are you okay?"

You collected yourself and took in a deep breath before lifting your head from your desk. Now you saw that Yaoyorozu was at your desk with Todoroki and a few other students behind her.

"I'm fine" You said with a neutral expression. "I just can't today"

"Oh, okay" Yaoyorozu gave you a smile. "Maybe tomorrow then?"

You nodded your head.

She gave you another smile before waving and saying goodbye, walking away with the students who were behind her— except Todoroki. He stepped in front of your desk.

"Your eyes are blue." He said.

But I was trying to make them grey...

"They're pretty" He said.

It was weird. Even you know that that compliment was given awkwardly.

Yet your heart still fluttered.

And your face felt hot.

And your eyes changed from blue to light pink.

The corners of Todoroki's mouth turned up into a small smile. "I do like the light pink a bit more though, also the green. But any of the colors are good, you look pretty either way"

If it were anyone else they probably would've cringed at the awkwardness, but not you.

You didn't know what to say— you weren't even sure if you could say anything right now, it might just come out as stutters or jumbled up words. At this point you were questioning if you even heard him right, because why did he just say that?

"Thank you" You said quietly. So quietly that if you weren't the only two students left in the room he wouldn't have heard it. It was a necessary volume though because you were focusing on just getting the words out.

His smile grew a little bit. "Do you want to walk with me?"

You hesitated for a second before nodding your head.

You looked back at your desk and quickly gathered your stuff, packing it away in your backpack and standing up.

You both started walking, leaving the classroom and walking through the hallways. Todoroki did most of the talking, you would just hum and nod along so that he knew you were listening.
