Nervous wasn't the right word.

You were absolutely scared shitless right now.

It wasn't the giant crowd that would be watching the festival that scared you, it was the fact that your mother came in person— which you definitely were not expecting. She had brought her cane so she could walk around.

Now you really had to make sure that you win.

You were sitting in one of the back rooms with the rest of your class. You had your head in your hands and your eyes shut as you drew in slow breathes, trying to calm yourself down. It wasn't really working too much, everyone could tell that you were uneasy about something.

Todoroki was sitting next to you, trying to ask why you were so scared, but you would just shake your head. Yaoyorozu was sitting at your other side and rubbing your upper back to comfort you.

"She came here" You said with your head still in your hands. "I can't believe she came here."

"Your mom?" Yaoyorozu asked.

You nodded and lifted your head a bit, glancing over at Bakugo who was sitting a few feet away at one of the few tables. He glanced back at you and you made eye contact for a moment before you quickly looked back down.

"I don't know if I can win" You said quietly. 'She's gonna be so mad.' You started shaking your head again. "She's gonna be so mad"

Of course everyone wants to win, you knew that. But you had to win. And you were mainly worried about fighting Bakugo, you were sure you could handle fighting everyone else. You were hoping that you wouldn't have to face off with him throughout the whole thing, but that was probably unlikely.

"You just have to do your best." Yaoyorozu said.

It's not good enough. My best isn't gonna be good enough. I can't win... I won't be able to... I'm just gonna have to accept whatever the punishment is...

You suddenly stood up and started walking away, much to Yaoyorozu and Todoroki's confusion.

"Um... Where are you going?" Yaoyorozu asled hesitantly.

"I have to throw up." You mumbled as you left the room.

"I'm really worried about her" Yaoyorozu said as she chewed the inside of her cheek nervously. "She shouldn't worry herself until she throws up..."

Todoroki nodded slightly and then stood up. At first Yaoyorozu thought he was going after you, but then he walked over to Midoriya. She was even more surprised when he directly challenged him, telling Midoriya that he was going to try his best and win.

L/n's worried about Bakugo, I can tell. Yaoyorozu thought. But is she even thinking about anyone else as a threat for this festival?

We all know how the sports festival goes for the most part so pls pardon the fact that I won't go into too much detail if I'm not changing things too much.

The first event was an obstacle race, which sounded really easy to you because you could just fly over any obstacles.

You had to start on the ground of course so you wouldn't get a head start. The opening of the starting line was very narrow, they must've done that intentionally to make it harder.

Good thing I filled out the form for my boots.

If you hadn't filled out that form you would've just broke any normal shoes when you tried to fly, plus it would be hard to go through the rest of the festival with no bottoms on your shoes.
