That felt good. I don't know why, but seeing that little mark on the dummy's face made me feel good. So, naturally, I hit it again. The same angle.

SMACK

All the sudden I felt angry. like, I wanted to punch that dummy through and through. Like he just killed my parents and my sister and I needed revenge. I stepped back, and with powers I didn't even know I had, I attacked. I couldn't even control myself. Despite the -3 sharpness enchantment, I left that dummy in countless pieces on the wooden floor. Leather, straw, everything.

But that didn't satisfy me. I turned around, and laid waste to another dummy. I swear, I would have done it if I wanted to or not.

The door opened.

Ben and Jane walked in.

"Holy Dinnerbone! What have you been teaching him!" Jane exclaimed.

"I don't think I taught him that," Ben replied.

"Gregor, could you show us that again?" Jane politely asked.

I turned to the last remaining dummy. I tightened my grip on the blade and tried to find a reason to be angry at him. I waited for that urge to totally destruct him but couldn't find it.

"I - I can't," I said.

"But you did it just moments ago," Jane argued.

"I - I guess I'm too tired," I countered. Lame excuse. I needed to talk to Ben about this.

"Oh, well. Better be off," Jane left.

Ben waited for her to leave and then said," Gregor, tell the truth. What happened?"

I told him everything.
