Our group set off on their journey.

We were traveling through a large forest. Trees were everywhere. Ben had found a walking stick that was long and hooked at the end that he used to travel.

After a few silent minutes, the Lora spotted a spider up on top of a tree. It wasn't hostile, but Ridge ran up to kill it.

The spider sure wasn't a normal one. A few seconds before ridge got into range, the spider climbed down the tree and backed off slowly.

"Ridge, do yah really have to?" Jane said. "I kinda like spiders."

"Oh fine," Ridge replied. He walked back to the rest of the group.

The spider didn't run off. It started following us. Jane, in particular. She turned around and said, "Why is it following us?"

"Don't be alarmed," came a silky voice.

"Huh? Did that spider just talk?" Grace said.

"Yes." The spider was indeed talking, and to Jane. "I am Xiro, and I come in peace. I can help you, if you need it. I can be handy in combat."

"Uh, sure? I guess?" Jane glanced at Ben. He shrugged his shoulders.

"We are traveling to our base after we were captured by the HSP." Lora informed.

"Very well. I just got disbanded from the spider council that controls these parts. I was just looking for a future."

"Do you know anything about the HSP? Ben asked.

"Well, the HSP have a nearby camp around here somewhere. In our eyes, they slay every passive mob that they see. Including spiders. We have assaults on them at night, only to take heavy losses. They are too strong. I will gladly help you against Herobrine."
