Ben and I geared ourselves in full black leather armor and gave ourselves enchanted iron swords.
"We want to be hidden, it's nighttime," Ben said when I asked about the armor.
"And I'll be the guard?" Preston asked.
"Yeah. And you might want to get some weaponry too, just in case" Ben suggested. "Make sure that Grace, Lora, and Ridge stay in the infirmiry. Gregor and I will be off now."
Ben and I left from the back entrance, the side of HQ that the assassins escaped from.
We walked through the dark and sleepy town, holding our gamma scanners.
"The trail so far is clear," Ben said. "Go turn into those woods."
I lead us into a large, untamed forest.
"The waves are saying the supplies stopped. They're 20 blocks beneath 50 blocks ahead of us into this forest," Ben said. "Let's go."
We moved through the woods for a while until arriving at a cave entrance.
"This is it," I said, looking at my scanner. I put it back in my inventory and brought out my bow.
Ben only nodded before unsheathing his sword.
We advanced.
