They both stand there for a long while, just staring at the three positive pregnancy tests.

"does everything look good?" Tim asks Doctor Whitford.
"depends on how you feel about having twins" Doctor Whitford grins.

"one more day" Brooke murmurs to herself as Tim helps her out of bed.
"one more day and the last month and half of your pregnancy will be spent in peace" Tim agrees.

"I love you" Brooke whispers.
Tim's breath hitches and Brooke's eyes widen, wondering if it was too soon.
"I love you too" Tim murmurs before pulling her into a kiss.

"Your murder victim is part of a homegrown terror cell that the DHS has been tracking, and we believe that they're planning a deadly biological attack on the City of Los Angeles." Jessica announces.

"are you okay?" Brooke asks on the phone with Tim.
"Doc says it's too soon to tell" Tim responds.
"Tim, you can't-..." Brooke trails off.
"I'm not going anywhere" Tim promises.

"how's he doing?" Nolan asks, with everyone crowding around her.
"good, he's back" Brooke smiles, watching him walk over to the van before Tim suddenly freezes.
Brooke frowns but then Tim collapses.
"Tim!"
[Present Day]
"what's wrong? is it the virus?" Brooke asks, holding Tim's hand as he convulses and seizes on the gurney in the ambulance.
"There's no bleeding, looks like he's having a severe reaction to the shot we gave him. He's going into anaphylactic shock. Get me epinephrine!" Dr. Lee explains.
The ambulance comes to a screeching halt in front of Shaw Memorial Hospital. Then they hear gunshots.
"stay here" Brooke says, scrunching her face as she navigates her very pregnant belly over to the empty passenger seat of the ambulance and steps out, walking around to see Nolan using the drivers side of the ambulance as cover.
"right behind you, right behind you, covering" Brooke tells Nolan as she covers Nolan so he can take cover behind a pillar while Brooke pulls two injured nurses into cover.
Nolan shoots the woman in the shoulder then gets ready to move closer while she's reloading her gun. Just when he's about to shoot the final shot, he realizes he needs to reload. Brooke shoots at her but she shoots back and Brooke needs to duck behind the ambulance. Just when she's bearing down on them, Tim bursts out from the back of the ambulance, shooting the woman in her other shoulder. Nolan surges forward and tackles her, cuffing her.
"Suspect in custody" Brooke says over the radio.
"Doctor! I need some help over here!" Nolan calls and doctors help him with the woman.
"are you okay?" Brooke immediately rushes over to Tim.
"are you?" Tim asks, looking her over.
"I asked first" Brooke's eyebrows furrow.
