Korra and Amelia had been calling Lauren about a billion times but she still hasn't pick up.
They gave up and went to Lauren's house.
When Korra and Amelia had reached Lauren's house, they rang the doorbell a few times. However, there was no answer.
Amelia found out that the door wasn't locked, so she opened it slowly, and went in with Korra.
What they saw was totally unexpected.
Lauren was sitting on the sofa. She looked so pale. Her eyes were unable to focus on anything. The dark circles under her eyes stood out more than usual. Her whole body was shaking. She looked like she was dead.
In fact, Lauren was partially dead, on the inside.
"Damn. What's up with her now?" Korra said.
"Lauren, what happened? You can tell us." Amelia asked with a gentle voice.
Lauren looked up and a knuckle cracking sound was audible. She hadn't moved since she came back from the police station. Lauren stared at them with her hollow eyes.
"I......found out......who......killed Jacob." Lauren stammered.
Korra clutched Lauren shoulders.
"Who is it? I'll help you murder him."
Amelia slapped Korra's back. Korra backed away.
"Hey I was just joking man."
"I don't think this is the right time, Korra." Amelia said, holding back a smile.
"Sorry."
"Who is it, Lauren?" Amelia asked softly.
Lauren sighed. She took a deep breath.
"Agent Moscoon."

"What the Hades??!!" Korra exclaimed.
Amelia looked surprised too. She sank to the floor, speechless.
"Agent Moscoon? But he's a cop....."
"I know." Lauren interrupted.
"Anyways, how did you know that Agent Moscoon did such a thing?" Korra asked.
"Police officer."
"Tell us how and why he did it." Korra said in a serious tone.
Lauren began to tell the story.
"It happened near Jacob's office....."

"That was......unfortunate." Korra said.
Lauren began to cry again.
"Why did God treat Jacob like this, treat me like this. What had I done to deserve this??"
Korra stood up and gave Lauren a bone crushing hug. Amelia rose up and hugged Lauren as well.
