Monica POV: I was going to wait until we got to Anguilla to tell them but I decided to do it now so I don't have to deal with them aggravating me every minute of the day trying to figure it out and we leave in two days so I feel like it's close enough for them to know where we're going now.
I called them to the basement with a mischievous smile on my face. "Alright y'all I have a surprise for you" I announced holding an envelope in my hand.
Of course, Romelo was the first one to speak, his eyes lighting up. "Is it a new game console?" He asked, bubbling with excitement.
I laughed "No, it's something even better" I said, handing the envelope to Angel.
Angel opened it, her eyes widening as she read it "A trip to Anguilla? Are you serious?" She exclaimed, looking at me with excitement.
"Yes! You're always surprising me and the kids so I decided it would be the perfect getaway for us and the kids." I replied
They all got up from the couch and pulled me into a group hug.
"I love y'all" I said during the embrace
"I love you too" they all said
"When do we leave?" Rodney asked
"The day after tomorrow so make sure y'all have everything because if you don't we have to go back to the store." I said
"Ok" the kids said going upstairs to double check if they had everything
"You're really taking us to Anguilla" she asked
"Yes baby" I said and she grabbed my face and gave me a kiss
"I love you" she said
"I love you too" I said
"I feel like now that I know where we're going I need to go shopping again" she said
"Ok, I need to get a new purse anyway" I said
"Are we flying regular or private before I start overpacking?" She asked
"Private but don't start doing too much with the luggage babe. It's only a 5 day trip." I said
"I'm bringing a lot of luggage. You know I like to have more than what I need so I can have options." She said
"I can only imagine how much luggage we're about to have on this plane. All of that luggage won't be able to fit in either one of my cars." I said
"I'll get a driver or you can drive one and I'll drive the other" she said
"Let's just get the driver. I don't want to drive" I said
"Ok, whatever you want. It's your world I'm just living in it" she said
"I love that for me" I said while smiling
We went upstairs and double checked to see if we were missing anything and we're definitely going back to the store.

Angel POV: We stepped off of the jet in Anguilla and I was amazed at how beautiful it was.
"Can we go to the beach?!" Romelo asked
"Patience Melo! We have to check in the hotel first" Monica said
After we checked into the hotel we went to the beach. Melo and I were building a sandcastle together. "You know, Angel, this is the best trip ever" he said while patting the sand down.
"I'm glad you're having fun, Melo" I replied, smiling
While we were building a sandcastle Mo was helping laiyah collect seashells while Rodney was in the water
"Look at this one Angel!" Laiyah said, running over to me to show me the seashell
"It's so pretty! Good job princess" I said
After we stayed at the beach for a while we went back to the room and took showers and a nap before getting ready to go to dinner.
We decided to have dinner on the beach and while we were eating Romelo spoke.
"Can we do this every year?" He asked
"We'll see Melo. Let's just enjoy this one for now" No said while laughing
After we finished eating we went back to the hotel and Monica and I sat on the balcony and talked.
"This trip is going good so far. Thank you for doing this" I said
"It's no problem. Y'all are my heart, I'm grateful I'm blessed enough to do something special for y'all" she replied, laying her head on my shoulder
"I love you" I said, kissing her forehead
"I love you too" she said, lifting her head from my shoulder to give me a kiss
